Good morning all! I guess it may afternoon for some of you! Not much planned for me today, I think I will go to my Mom and Dad's and just hang out there. The boys think they need to go everytime that they are out of school. James will probably stay home and watch the Daytona 500, gotta love Nascar!

Lizzy: hope they get your floors done quickly. If DH knew the trucks were racing he would have been watchint it. Did you see there is a fued brewing between Truex, Jr. and Kyle Busch? Could get interesting!

Terry: feel better! I have used Uristat before when I was pregnant and was having serious kidney infection and bladder infections and it really helped. Just my 2 cents.

Lori: I totally understand you only mine was a car, I was sad to get rid of it even though I had a "newer" one! It will all be ok!

Nikki & Allison: get that motivation girls, y'all can do it!

Jen: crazy about the boy being locked out! Have a great day with the family, and kick some but at both basketball and raquetball.

I realllllly wanted to go get a haircut this morning, but had to deal with router issues! UGH!

I put up the next challenge and have emailed admin to sticky this one and take down the last one. I also posted the results from the last challenge as well.

It is sooooooooo gloomy outside. We are supposed to get rain and then tomorrow a mix. Fun. Kevin leaves tomorrow afternoon for Salt Lake City. Not sure how long he will be there. I just wish we were in the same time zone to make communication a bit easier. LOL

I also decided that I really need to start to try to get up early and get my workouts in. That is going to be soooooo hard since I do not go to bed early. Alot of times I am on the phone with Kevin or playing online with him until about 11. We also had a discussion about the food situation....he actually brought it up. He said that he really does not want to change the way he eats, but if that means that we have 2 meals in the house then so be it..if need be he will cook whatever I want. I feel badly in a way, but I have to eat healthy......and apparently since we both got each other racquetball equipment for valentine's day, we will be working out together. or more so playing together.

Oh.....so the problems I am having with my car is it needs a new catalytic converter. The guys at work are going to try a quick fix for me by taking out the bad pipe and welding in a new one. it will save me almost $800. When I got the car, it was a "I have to get a dependable vehicle now" type of thing and it was before I filed bankruptcy, so needless to say my credit sucked and I took whatever loan I could get.....unfortunately that meant HIGH interest rate....well now we are talking about my maybe getting a new vehicle within the year, but the payoff of mine is going to suck.....basically I am upside down on the loan. Whether we do this now or 2 years from now, I am going to have the same problem, but we are figuring since we have the money for a down payment this year, we should do it. Anybody with thoughts or words of wisdom?

Oh well.....I need to eat something.

Hey chicks! End of going grocery shopping this morning with DS...thank goodness because the more the day goes on, the worse my back is getting...not sure if it is something I have pulled or bladder??? It hurts almost constant now and it is hard to get comfy at all...not having anything unusual with bladder today like I was yesterday so makes me scratch my head..did get the cranberry juice and taking it and also found some OTC pills in the cabinet so I have taken one of those. Needless to say, I am a total grouch now!! I wonder if this was brewing when I felt so bad Thurs night and Fri morning??? Oh well...if not better by am, will call the doc.

Lori..RFD TV is Rural Farm Development or something like that...it is just country/farm/ag related TV..on direct tv is #379. They have a website www.rfdtv.com...just went there and found out that it stands for RURAL FREE DELIVERY which dates back to rural mail delivery...history lesson for the day.LOL!!! It is cool tv though--had lots of ag shows, tractor shows, cows, horses...nice CLEAN TV for a change! I assume it is nation-wide but not sure on that one.

Allison..I cried over my washer but not because I loved it..it was tears of frustration..LOL!!! I did cry though when we signed the papers to build our house some 17 years ago..I also threw up @ the lawyers' office..tee hee!!!

Jen..thanks for setting up another challenge...found 2 more DVD's by the same girl @ Wally world..Above the Belt and Total Body...got them both!!!!

Hey guys. Same as yesterday here. Trying to kick this cold/flu whatever it is. Just been hanging out reading (started a new Kathy Reichs book), playing a little Wii, a little laundry and resting. Allison and Nik, I am with you on the journaling. It has been far too long that I have been lax about things. As soon as I am feeling better I will be working out too!

Lizzy~ Let us know how the carpet replacement goes. With any lck it will be done early and you can get a good night's sleep.

Lori~ I know exactly what you mean about the house. When we moved from Chattanooga I was really excited about our house in Pittsburgh. It didn't have any projects to be done, was bigger, and nicer. BUT, I was sad. The one in Chatt, was our first house and the one we brought DS home to. It had alot of memories.

Jen~ Sorry Kev is headed out to the West. It is always harder when they are on different time. Hopefully the guys will be able to get your car fixed.

Terry~ Congrats on DD's great "run" yesterday. At least you got some extra points from all that standing and working in the concession stand. Drink lots of water today!!

Oh and for all you weather sucking girls...we have sunny skies, a cool breeze and 69 temps..DD is in shorts and flip flops!! Yesterday she was riding at the show in a blame tank top!!

It has turned out to be a pretty nice day here. The boys have been outside playing, I still need something on my arms if I go out, but it is at least sunshiny!

Jen: my thoughts and words of wisdom are this: buy a Chevy Tahoe, with curtain airbags! They saved my sister and sil, oh on that note the driver of the car that hit her is still in ICU with 2 broken arms, 2 broken legs and internal bleeding. There were numerous "prescription drugs" found in the car and an ex-boyfriend was found and said she was pretty messed up and was probably on her way back from making a buy and high as a kite when she hit my sister. The passenger is out of the hospital and unfortunately they can't find her now to talk to her about the accident. Imagine that!

Hello everyone,
quickie from me. Got the carpet done. They came around 11, poor cat thought they were coming earlier so she was in her carrier around 9-4. She was a real trouper after a couple of hrs. gave her some special fancy feast as a treat. Started to sprinkle around 5 so got the stuff in from outside in a nick of time. still got stuff in the basement but it can wait. Think its's supposed to rain tomorrow too. just will concentrate w/ what I have in the apt right now. They have a thicker pad and the carpet is bit darker too. Been tracking stuff in, so will vacuum tomorrow.
had some problems w/my cable so only now catching up w/ daytona and my supper.

will check in more tomorrow.

Just thought I would spread some cheer...we hit 80 degrees this afternoon..YIKES!!! It got down right hot outside...kids were in shorts and flops and I was under a quilt in the recliner..u oh..running a temp now and still feeling lousy. I did manage to get an hour nap in but it was during the 500...but okay..I needed it.
