Good morning everyone,

I am up and have been for about an hour...mind race. So closing didn't happen yesterday. Scheduled for 9:00 today, so crossing my fingers. Talk about an emotional roller coaster. Isn't it frustrating when you expect the same level of service out of people that you give to your clients and then realize they don't give a rat's you know what? Argh! Oh well, once again, trying to keep it in perspective. Figured I might as well get out of bed and get something done so I'm going to work on a seizure paper for work for a few hours and then go feed the horses and the furbabies. Then hopefully off to closing.

Terry - a friend lent me a series of like 8 videos from John Lyons. I started watching the first one around 11 last night and fell asleep before it was over. He seemed to be kind of no nonsense...I kind of liked him. Your thoughts? Can't wait until it gets warmer so that I can spend some more time with my big girl. It's so dark when I get home now (and colder than you know what), that I go over, feed her and the other horses and really, she doesn't want to hang with me much b/c she's just interested in eating. She loves my treats but could care less about me right now

the carpet deal got postponed a day. So supposedly they are coming some time Sunday morning( darn prob going to miss Daytona 500) Just as well had a big day planned between basketball and wrestling so I still can go. Not sure what I'm going to do while the guys are working on the rug,esp the cat. @ least I have the carrier, will probably sit in the car cause I'm sure the loud noises will be freaking her out. Still got some packing to do but don't have to bust my hump like last night.(at least i got some ap's w/ all the stair climbing)

for those that missed it Wed nite went to ex's for a 3 hrs. when I came back the place was a mess. I live near a brook that turned into a roaring river w/ all our rains. Looks like the water backed up from the river or sewer in both the tub and toilet.Thank goodness the tub didn't over flow, will post the pixs on myspace. my next door neighbor got some water but it didnt reach his carpet.(he was probably home @ the time it happened) they are going to replace the rug.(better do it 1 day) would have to beg ex to stay over otherwise.

Terry -my magazines finally sold on ebay. already emailed the winner explaining my flood situation, may be w/o computer for a few days. hope you're feeling better, a lot of people i know,including me had the same thing.
Lori- any word about the sale, is it still a go.
jen- great job @ the restaurant. too funny about each of you getting the other raquet ball stuff. Like the new myspace wallpaper

Hey Lizzy - Sorry your carpet cleaning/replacing got rescheduled, but now you can keep with your original plans. I'm sure Ms. Athena is miffed about the carpet! My guys HATE getting their feet wet. Have a good day buddy...hugs right back atcha

Ok, trying to get a grip on things today...I'm just starting to feel really trapped over here right now. I seem to be falling into that funk again...got up, got showered, picked up a bit and I'm gonna go to the library today and take a walk, it's so nice and sunny right now. Yesterday I went out to the airport and took some pics of the planes coming in...I'll post a couple in a bit. I'm trying to make the best of it right now, but I just need a taste of civilization right now!!!!! lol....

Good Morning.

It felt nice to sleep in a bit this morning....but I also went to bed late because we were all on the wii and PS2 last night. My fingers are numb from guitar hero. LOL Have any of you played that? I can't beat Tony Morello on Medium!!!!!!!!!!!! Help! hehehe

On tap today is the Y in the early afternoon. We are going to do racquetball and basketball. Since it will be 6 of us (Blair isn't coming until tomorrow) I might see about doing wallyball too. Should be interesting.
Kevin is home until Monday afternoon. That is also the day that we are getting our new carpet, so since they are coming at 9, I am hoping they get it finished while he is here so I don't have to run home for them to finish. In the meantime, Kevin took the remaining carpeting off the stairs and the upstairs hallway. Man the stairs look sooooo nice without it! The wood looks beautiful....makes me want to keep it off. So after the Y today, we have to come home and get all the furniture out of the living room....fine by me...more room to play the Wii!

Lori.......hopefully by now you are signing papers! Fingers crossed and best of luck...I have to go check out your myspace page.

Lizzy....good luck on your carpeting! The pets are the main reason that one of us is to be here too. I contemplated just having the parents stay here for it, but if Sasha starts freaking out they wouldn't be able to control her like we would.

almost done packing, ugh. actually managed to get back to sleep for a 2 hr nap. Been procrastinating a bit but need to get things done soon since I have a busy afternoon and evening.

Well for some reason, the Y is not opening until 4, so that is when we are going.

How do you guys like our airport???? Kinda scary huh? It's about $50 one way to fly off....now you see why we pay $7 a gallon for milk!!!! Heck, they charge $6 to fly over a prescription. Oh and the runway comes right over the road, so you have to stop sometimes to let planes land, heeheehehh...
