Watch out for that plane! LOL Geez, Nikki those are great pictures!!!! You are sooo good at that. I wish there would be this awesome market open up for you!!
Well, I got my floors mopped and took a shower so I am calling it a day! LOL Just kidding. I am pretty sure my kids will want to eat! LOL We are going to watch basketball today and then we are going out with some friends tonight. We went out with a couple of friends for dinner at a seafood buffet last night at the casino. It was actually pretty good. I am not a seafood fan, but I found that I think I like crab legs and of course they had tilapia so I was great with that. Didn't win any damn money but my friend sat down beside to wait for me to burn my money and won $150 on her second pull! LOL
Jen: have a great time at the Y
Lori: hope the closing happens today!
Lizzy: Hope they get your carpet laid in time for Daytona! I wouldn't miss it!!!
Nikki: Don't let yourself get in a rut again, girl. You know all you have to do is call one of us and we'll make it better!!
Have a great day girls!!

Morning kids...well I guess I passed this fun thing along to ds. He woke up with a fever this morning. He's MUCH more energetic than I was though, so maybe he'll get a lesser version. I'm still kind of wierd and lethargic. I have 3 tubs of laundry to fold and just can't get my head together to do it.

Lori- I really hope you've signed papers by now. That's really awful customer service. Such a rollercoaster.

Lizzy-It's on TV-on Country Music TV channel. It's truly amazing. Like watching a train wreck. Those are some nasty pix on your myspace. Did you clean that up yourself? In one of our apartments in NY, we lived close to a brook and that happened to us...never were sure what that brown stuff was. Hope the new carpets happen tomorrow.

Nik-It's remote as hell, but it sure is beautiful.

Jen-Enjoy the new carpets..make sure your vacuum is in good working order. Man, I forgot how much fiber comes off a rug for like forever after you put them in.

Hope everyone has a good day
Sue

Happy Saturday ladies! A quick fly-by for me, my knitting is waiting for me!

Nikki, those are beautiful pics! I understand how you feel about being isolated. For about 10 years my uncle lived in a town on the coast of Northern Quebec (he is a teacher), that had no roads in or out!! You had to fly out, or take a boat during the warmer months, and to fly it took about 18 hours to get to Montreal! That was because you'd go from one bush plane, to a little bigger plane, to a little bigger plane, and wait and wait until the plane was full before they would leave!! Everyone had snowmobiles and four-wheelers to drive around the town's roads and to the neighbouring towns. He paid a fortune for food too! Whenever he came out, at Christmastime or summer holidays, he'd go nuts shopping! The government used to give people who lived remote enough, remote pay! I don't know if they do it any more though. Don't worry, spring will come soon! ((hugs)) don't let yourself get in a funk!

Sue: I have watched a few of those Redneck Wedding episodes, are they for real or is it all for t.v. They are too funny! I can't believe the one lady put on a pair of chaps and posed nude on her horse. Crazy! Hope your DH feels better.

Lizzy: ugh on the floor people, hope they get it done quickly! DH is watch the "Busch" series right now, go Tony Stewart, or Jr. Honestly, I want Jr. to win the Daytona 500 tomorrow. But I love me some Tony Stewart Attitude! LOL!

Nikki: you have inspired me to go take some pics! I love the one of the plane coming in. I want to know how big your post office is. {{{Hugs}}} to you buddy and don't let yourself fall into that funk! Love ya chick!

Jen: have a fun day!

Xan: hey chick! Crab legs are yummy, although I'm sure they would be even better if we had them fresh like say, Lizzy or even Nikki would have them!

Terry & Lori: my Dad reads all those horse mags and he loves Clinton Anderson and he really does have some very good ideas. My Dad will go to the pens and apply them and then acts half way suprised when they work. LOL!! My Dad has also been subscribing to Western Horseman Magazine since 1968, without ever having his subscription interrupted! I think they should give it to him for free by now! :*D

Allison: have a great Saturday!

To all the other awesome buddies who will show up later or whom I may have forgotten: have a great weekend and stay warm and safe!

Checking in really late! DD has been sick all day. Took her to the doc yesterday and they said just a cold. She woke up this morning with a stomch bug. My cough is still here, but knock on wood no stomch virus! DD is now better and running around the house. So, other than dealing with illness not much going on here.

Lori~ HURRAY! HURRAY! So glad you were able to close.

Lizzy~ Holding all good thoughts that the carpet installation goes smoothly tomorrow.

Jen~ I played guitar hero once over Christmas and couldn't get through one song. It is lots of fun though. We have been playing lots of Wii this weekend.

Xan~ Sorry you didn't win any money! Hope you have a great Birthday tomorrow!

Nik~ Love the pics. LOL at the "Municipal Airport"! I am amazed that you don't get lost in that huge building.

Sue~ Sorry that DH is now sick. Hope you are back to 100% soon!

Sarah~ What are you knitting?

Cheryl~ I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

I am off to get some more rest....

Extremely late for me..sorry buds! Had a busy day...give out now...started @ 6 am with DH & DS and finishing up the scrap metal trailor and then taking it to the recylcing place..DS ended up with $299..WOO HOO!!! That is so crazy for absolute junk..and I mean junk!!!! Got back around 10:30 in time to load the horse and DD and head for the saddle club to gymkhana show (where you do a series of events and earn points for year end awards)..she did awesome!! She smoked them in arena race where you run to the end and turn a barrel and run back out..she ran it in 8.3 seconds and the closest to her was 9.7..after she ran that good in youth, DH went and signed her up for the Open class too where she competed with the adults and smoked their butts as well. She ended up placing 1st in 2 youth events, 3rd in 1 youth and 2 open, 2nd in 1 open, and 4th in youth. Then after that show we had a play day where the kids can run in events that are just for fun and you earn ribbons..she came home with 3 1st place ribbons from that...I worked the concession stand for 5 hours..I never sat down from 11:15 until 5:00...I am pooped!!! Eating was rough today...we just did not plan very well so I am skipping supper ..tommorrow is a new day!!! I did not get a chance to exercise today either which was disappointing but tommorrow is a new week.

Lori...There are so many of those trainers and so many techinques...I just guess it is really who you like to listen too...do you ever watch RFD TV on satellite..they run alot of those kind of shows. DS has "Building Your Dream Horse" by Charles Wilhelm..that is a really good read..oh and it is a signed copy ..

Cheryl...my uncle gets several horse magazines and we get his leftovers...DD was getting Horse & Rider but got tired of it...we get Barrel Horse News.

Lizzy...uggg on apartment...hope things go well tommorrow!

Okay..guess I better scoot and get some laundry done.
