hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's day.
Still very wet here, disinfected what I could last night and cleaned up much of the crud(w/plastic gloves off the carpet). As of last night hadn't heard when the flooring people are coming by to do the rug, should only take one day I heard(kind of weird I would think they would need to wait until underneath dries.) So need to start packing up(since i have no idea when they are coming. have a lot of stuff in this room, have enough plastic containers so shouldnt be that much of a problem to have stuff in the basement. haven't seen the basement yet though. will try as soon as it gets light.(and give my neighbors a break) Been up since 2 ugh
Did wi and still the same despite all the stress.

Morning all,

Well yesterday just blew. I was so bummed that I was in tears. After a year and a half of 2 mortgages, I thought we were finally done. But then after one margarita, I had a stern talking to with myself and imagined all the things that could be worse than 2 mortgages...I could be homeless instead of paying for 2, my husband could have an incurable disease, my father could be back in the hospital again, on and on....after that, well, it put it in perspective and I have resolved not to have a whiny day today. We will hear from the realtor sometime today about going forward. I told her I want an extension signed today! No way I am losing this buyer over the stupidity and unprofessionalism of the lender, title co., the list goes on and on. So, we'll see what today brings.

Lizzy - so sorry about the mess. Just what you needed to deal with huh?

found some boxes from the basement and my suitcases to start some packing. who knows when this guy will end up coming.

Lori (((HUGS))) about yesterday. hopefully the deal will be finished soon.

I'm trying to look on the bright side. The rug was getting a bit shabby after 6 yrs. Actually don't think it was changed from the previous owner. Nothing major was damaged. Will try to get some strider in tonight to burn off some nervous energy. need to do laundry w/ some of the stuff exposed to the water(had my laundry bag on the floor)
Need to work on my water too. that's my pledge for the day.

Good Morning Ladies.

Oh I did not want to get out of bed...I had 2 beers last night, so that is part of it! hehehe We had a nice night though. We went to dinner at this italian place that I like with Jess and Garrett and my parents and his parents. There were not alot of great choices at his place, so I did the smart thing......ate half of the chicken and only 2 forks of spaghetti. The rest I took home and will bring in to work for one of the guys there since he is a single dad. LOL I do that alot.
Also, not only did Kevin get me the same racquetball stuff, he bought himself the same workout clothes that I had bought him! LOL AND he also bought me a beautiful pair of earrings and matching bracelet.

So today should be fun at work.....ugh.....I have to install that temporary computer so I can run my checks.

Yesterday was the end of the Valentine's challenge too. I will start a new challenge on Sunday. I know I missed the exercise by like 3 days...damn being sick!!!!!!!

Lori........Way to put things into prespective and smart thinking on the extension. I hope you can get everything done.

Lizzy.......I agree on the drying stuff out, unless they are going to have a power fan to dry everything while they are working on something else. Are you the only one this happened to?

Oh well......gotta go and start getting ready. I am not sure if I will have internet on this temp computer, so just in case, have a great day.

just got an update from the landlord. looks like the carpet guy will be by tomorrow, just don't know when yet. need to cancel my eye appt. speed packing now!1

Jen- most of it happened to me, the guy next to me got some but didn't get to his rug.

Lizzy..what did they decide happened?? I might have missed it if you have already posted it (sorry).

Boy I felt like crap last night....I was soooo freaking scared I was getting sick and still not 100% sure what is going on with me..going into work but going to watch myself and make sure I am okay--if I am getting something no need to spread it any further....I was fine until around 7 and I got these horrible aches in my shoulders, back and arms...my arms felt like they weighed 50 lbs a piece..I was finished cooking, etc so sat down in den in recliner and fell hard and fast asleep..DD woke me about 30 min later and I was freezing but temp was right at 98 (I do run subnormal most of the time??) so I went to bed...DH woke me around midnight and said I was moaning and sounded like I was hurting or something..got up to go to bathroom and legs felt like they would barely go. Slept the rest of the night and this morning I am okay but still feel achy..temp is 98.6 this morning. Took a long hot bath hoping that will help me and 2 tylenol.

Made the Sausage Stroganoff recipe last night co-worker had given me..OMG, it is awesome!!!! I am going to email it to Jen later so she can figure WW points for me and then I will post it. I ran mastercook on it but it doesn't have ff sour cream listed on it so not sure what the difference will be on the points there. It was soooo easy too!!! Just had some for breakfast.

Lori..so sorry about the closing...do you get to keep deposit if it goes bad completely???

Gotta scoot so I can get my butt in gear and make sure I am okay to go into work...BBL

Morning guys! Had our volleyball game last night, it went really well, we had a little over 30 ppl show up, some of the senior ladies made baked goods, and the PTO sold hot dogs, chips etc. The kids seemed to have a good time, as well as the adults that played...got some great pics. Anyway...went to art class yesterday and that really got me out of my funk, it's pretty funny and an all round good time. Can't believe it's Friday again already, my week just flew by!

Terry - I love stroganoff anything - that sounds sooooo good! Maybe you've got some weird strain of s flu, it seems like it's been a really bad winter for that.

Jen - awww, your gifts sound so nice!! I got truck repairs and a roll of insulation for vday, lol...

I figured out the stitch that I was having problems with last night, so I'm gonna continue on with my baby hat today, I've only made one hat before, it turned out ok, but not good enough to give to charity, hopefully this one will be better.

Hi Nikki! I want to see pictures of your hat! I did two last year for me and Chy for her HS's championship fb game. I even stitched SHS in it! They look kind of funny but she still wears hers! Glad you had fun last night! Oh and I didn't get anything for v-day so your truck repairs look pretty good to me! LOL
