Morning chicks! Starting the thread before 5 am ...trying to stay on the good foot here and not go back to bed after DH leaves out.

I'm back...got some laundry in the washer and a fire going in the stove...it got back down in the 30's last night and not supposed to be as warm today but still in lower to mid 60's. The wind really blew last night...we could hear it howling on and off. Watched Paradise Hotel 2 last night...woo hoo!!! I am sooooo glad that show is back on...I am soooo addicted to it. I know I watched the reruns at least a dozen times of the first season. No surprises to me last night with who got sent home...I kinda figured it already .

I realized yesterday next weekend is a long weekend--President's Day!! I think the kids are out for 4 days and DH & I both get off Monday. Gives me something to look forward too

I am not sure how much snow is out there already as it is still dark out. They are calling for my area to get 5-7....Em unfortunately is supposed to get less snow, but ice after a while. This is the same storm we got this time last year, almost to the day....it was Valentine's last year. Fun.

I am actually up in bed typing this. LOL I didn't want to wake up Nic since there is no school. The kids will be happy when they get up.

My WI went well last night....1.8! Not what my scale showed, but I will take it just the same.

Terry......not sure if my kids have school on Monday or not now. It was a scheduled off day, but because we hadn't used snow days yet.

Morning Terry! I've been up since 5 just totally unmotivated to get anything done lol. I did get some laundry going. I'll be hitting the shower in a few minutes to get ready for work. Took a walk yesterday evening it was nice and relaxing. I should do that more often. Terry, this work is crazy isn't it! Here you never know from minute to minute what the weather is going to be like. We had storms overnight. Looks like highs should be in the 50's today with a bit of a breeze. That normally means that it should be 12 with house blowing down winds lol! Our poor weathermen have it rough because you just can't say what our weather will be.

Ok off to shower bb.

hello everyone
not feeling great, but just took some advil so we'll see if it kicks in. Major headache today. did good about exercise and water yesterday despite it being very busy. yeah me. We're supposed to start getting snow after the evening commute tonight then it's supposed to change to rain for the morning commute tomorrow. how fun we're only supposed to get a couple of inches @ the most before the change over.

So bummed I don't have presidents day off. We don't have any holidays now until memorial day. Don't have accrued sick time.(luckily I just got some accrued for the last one) So going to try to suck it up to go in.

I can't believe the amount of traffic on the roads they are showing on TV. Sorry I would be home today even if the kiids were supposed to go to school. Actually, that was the plan.....even if they were open today, with what was coming(the heavier stuff is due later) I was not sending them to school. I am betting that Devan is wishing he would have stayed here last night too.......He is out in the boonies at his mom's.....at least here he would be in town and could go to his friends.

April....I will probably get laundry done today. Might was well! I have no plans on going anywhere...well maybe outside to build a snowman with the kids.

Back from the workout..went for 25 min this morning and added weights..YIKES!! I am glistening with sweat right now...the kids were cheering me on..it was too funny..DS was on the floor beside with his hand hitting the floor telling me "do it, do it..don't give in"...it truly helped me..who wants to wimp out in front of their kids!!!

Kids are on 1/2 day today due to teacher workday...they are going shopping after they get out and get some stuff done in the "city"..about 20 min from town where they go to school but it has a MALL , a Tractor Supply, a Bath & Body Works..you know all the stores they need to hit today..oh and Wally World. They still have some gift cards they need to try to spend from Christmas..I think several of DS friends are heading over with them and they are going to eat lunch, etc.

Lizzy..we have President's Day, Good Friday and Memorial Day..I guess I am lucky in that respect.
