Good morning all. Figured I better get here early if I didn't want 9 pages before I got here! Can't keep up with you guys .

It's back to work for me today. It was nice being home the last few days. Still no travel lined up for February...am going to try my hardest to keep it that way. Got the results of the inspection on the house back yesterday. Buyer is asking for stupid things but will try and just negotiate some $ as I think that's what she's after. Better to be upside down now than 12 months from now and 12 more mortgage payments later.

Hello everyone,
if you guys didn't catch it yesterday in all our pages. Supposed to get the car back on Fri night, fingers crossed. They found an additional $800 plus damage. They are putting in the paint shop today, so will prob get back Fri night. Insurance needs to cut another check so not sure how the body shop will want to handle payment. Looked @ my sick time yesterday looks like I might have accrued some more time so looks like my sick day will be totally paid. Still not feeling great but able to go in.

did well w/ water,food & exercise. for idol fans, judges were finally getting fiesty towards each other last night.

Lori- good to have you around. hope travels are less in Feb, then again a few less days next month too. fingers crossed for house.

Good Morning Ladies.

I am sooooo sick this morning! I have been blowing my nose all morning and I can not get unstuffed, my cough is horrible, and I have lost most of my voice....not that anyone would mind that. LOL I can see this is going to be a fun day at work! UGH!

Can't remember if I told you, they couldn't fix my laptop so they have sent me a gift card for circuit city to replace it in full! I was already looking online at some yesterday.....Sue since you are the resident techie...what do you think of the HP DV6748US? LOL The only thing I am on the fence about is everything I found that I liked uses Vista instead of XP.

Both girls won their games last night....what running we had to do! Jess' game wasn't over until about 7:20 and Blair's game started at 7:30....we had to book to that game. Luckily we got there before half time.

Lori- Fingers and Toes still crossed!!!!!!! I hope your travel schedule is alot lighter for February!

Lizzy- Could the insurance company just make the check payable to the shop? Glad that you now have the sick day.

I hope I get to feeling better later.....we are getting Lori's storm tomorrow and I realllllllly need to go grocery shopping this evening.

Jen-it looks like a good solid laptop. You'll be hard pressed to find anything that doesn't run Vista at this point...it's the standard as MS is pulling support for XP in the next few years. Dh refuses to run it, but I know alot of people who do. It has some built in MS controls, and it dials back to the mothership with regularity, but they seem to be running their systems just fine with it. I read the reviews and the specs...nice big hard drive, 2 gigs of RAM will be fast, fast, fast. Nice price. Looks like it might run a wee bit hot though, so be careful. They call them notebooks now for a reason...with all the crap they're packing inside them, most of them should not be used on a lap Anyway, looks like a good laptop, and people seem to be happy. I think you'll like the widescreen. One of dh's laptops is a widescreen and it's NICE for movie watching. I think one of the reviews said your laptop comes with a remote for movie viewing...funny.
Tell Kevin to pack his woolies. Flagstaff has been hitting the single digits at night. That's about 2.5 hours north of me. It's where we go to see snow Damn he'll be so close to the Grand Canyon. If he hasn't been, he should go. It's only about an hour north of Flag...

Lizzy-hope your car is better than new when you get it back. Maybe they can inject it with some of that "new car smell"

Alright...I gotta work. I'm still very sleepy. Dh and I had a rip roarer fight last night and I inhaled a glass of wine before bed. Feeling it this morning.

Wow! Took me a while to post this morning. I had to read the 12 page book from yesterday lol! Sounds like it was busy busy busy around here. I couldn't come on yesterday evening cause I was crocheting and I got busy with it lol. DH was like OMG you didn't get on the computer tonight! I was like I don't have 4 hands lol!

Anyways Kim good to see you posting again! Angiesita! Great job on the WL!!!! That's excellent news!!

Lori-Sounds like you need some serious time off from the travel!
Jen- I hear that the Vista Sucks! and supposably you can't just download XP. So you have to have it put on there before you purchase it. Be sure to check into that I've heard alot of complaints about vista!

I did good on the crocheting yesterday! I was quite proud of myself. The kids say mom, are you sure you are only 34 I'm like what's that suppose to mean? they were like well only old people sit around crocheting! I said I'm just getting in practice! haha

Today, hmmmmm not sure. I know I have exercise and I'm going to eat healthy and I'm going to do some laundry and stuff! It's been nice and quiet on the homefront I seriously can't complain!

Well....it is truly official now. Last night we wrote the earnest money check to the title company. We are on our way to moving in less than a month. Last night we celebrated by going out to order a new bed.

We also had the inspection done on our current house ..... all of the stuff on the inspection sheet is really picky stuff....and nothing that I think we are going to need to repair. Our little house is in really good condition. Its nice to have a handy hubby.

Not much going on today. Work....Talent Show Auditions for the kids. Then home...yoga class....pretty boring day all together.

Hey April...I am just running behind this morning!!

I just finished my exercise this morning...got a late start...I was so stuffy and congested last night in my head and sneezing like crazy so after fighting it for 2 hours, I just grabbed some tylenol PM's...it put me out like a baby. I slept the best I have in months I do believe!!! Only downfall was it took all I had to get my butt back out of the bed this morning after I laid back down at 4:30...UGGG..should have stayed up I guess but I just wanted another 30 min...which turned into another and another..LOL!!! I did drag out at 6:45. I am going to have to really rush to get to work on time since I used my "morning" time to get my dvd done. But it was worth it..I feel so good about myself since I have been exercising again.

We woke up to another below freezing morning..BRRRRR!!! It is supposed to be chilly again today and we are down to the last few pieces of wood outside..thank goodness DH doesn't work tommorrow so he can go get us a little until the kids can cut on Sat.

My dad did great with his eye surgery yesterday...it just took all afternoon between it and the waiting afterwards. They have to be back this morning for a check-up and then he is a-o-k until he has the other one done in 2 weeks. It is his 71st b-day today..hard to believe he is getting that old. You just kinda always forget they are actually getting older too..

As usual, DS was late getting out again this morning...I was just plain mean this morning and told him either he starts getting up and out of here on time, or I am going to start cutting out some of his "extras"..like cell phone, gas for the weekend, etc. He is really pushing my buttons lately but I talked it over with my g/f last night and she said she sees it all the time (she is a school nurse)..said the seniors are so ready to get out by the 2nd semester until they can't see straight..heck he is even going but from 8-12:45 everyday..who wouldn't want to go get that over with????? He did compromise with me this morning..DD has a bb to cheer for this evening so he is going to wait after practice at the game and bring her home so I don't have to hang out in town after work. That did get him a little reprieve.

Can't wait to see the horrid report from the orthodonist today? I am going to have to find a sand pit and bury my head more than likely. Okay..I am off to grab a much needed shower.

Lori...Wow, it is going to be great having you home all month!!! Don't give in too much on the other house with the buyer..if the appraisal is where the price is, you are good to go other than termite cert, etc..you don't have to compromise too much unless you just really need to get it off your hands.
Lizzy..my ins company deals straight with body shop on extra checks if the original appraisal is short..hope it the same for you..less headaches!
Sue..my parents went to the grand canyon years ago..they said it was worth every mile there and back to see it.
Okay..looks like I am going to have go to the attic and dig out my old crochet stuff if I am going to keep up with you girls...hmmmm...wonder where it would be located up there.
Jen..have you seen VISTA? I am scared to even think about it but I know it is coming at work eventually.
