Hello everyone,
back was starting to get stiff last night, tried to take a bubble bath before the advil kicked in so was a bit uncomfortable. Had a heating pad off and on. Woke up this morning very stiff but not in pain. have a heat wrap for my back on for the day. Zonked out near the end of AI. Don't remember anything after that girl sang amazing grace. Interesting people last night to say the least.
Still a bit numb about the accident. Probably will hit when I get the bill and have to rent a car. Sis is supposed to be upping her belated xmas gift and sending it out to me.
Holding off on exercise for right now.
bad girl I did had to go to the convienience store to get some milk, and just had to get some chips too. Ugh for the emotional eating.Small bag but still.
Did do well w/water.

take care everyone, need to start looking @ the list of repair shops to see if one is in fairly walking distance.

Good Morning Ladies.
This is going to sound funny, but my arms are sore this morning! I guess from basketball the other day and swimming. I have to workout this afternoon! I wanted to yesterday, but was waiting on my MIL to call me so I could go over there and help her hook some stuff up to the RF modulator I bought them.....she didn't call in time to go. I figured I still had a few days to hit my pledge.
Another thing I had a problem with last night was munchies. I had them soooo badly...probably Tom, but it was annoying. I had the 1 snack, which I planned, and got the heck out of the kitchen. I finished one color of the squares I am doing for the afghan! Now onto the other 27 in the other color.

Today I have work, but we have to see how Jess feels this morning yet. She had a really upset stomach last night. I would looooove to stay home today! hehehe Garrett has swim lessons this evening....so I have to get my workout in as soon as I hit the door after work....either that or do it at the Y after his lesson...but at that time, all the cardio equipment is usually taken.
Scout is mad at me because I will not let him outside! I can not believe this cat did not learn his lesson!!!! Too bad....not going out. Plus it is just too damn cold out there.

Lizzy- If you were going to give in to having chips, you did the right thing and got the small bag. Good for you! I hope you feel better today.

Morning Liz, sorry to hear about you being stiff and sore all night. I know it will get better soon. When Al fell off the ladder and landed on his spine on a concrete parking divider. We tried just heat and it helps a bit but swaping the heat and ice every 20 minutes helped it even more.
Hopefully the repair shops will be close and you'll get it all fixed soon!

I'm not sure what's on my agenda today planning on eating right and getting in my morning exercise. Other than that I'm an open book for what I might do!

Morning Jen. Sounds like you had a good day yesterday for the most part. I can't decide to hope Jess feels better or feels worse so you can stay home lol! Enjoy your day either way!

April..morning friend!

Well I slept like somebody knocked me over the head last night...slept right through the fire going out..YIKES...woke up at 2:50 with a severe leg cramp and was jumping around on the floor and realized the wood floor was cold as ice...the fire was completely out! Took me about 20 minutes to get it going again but the house was still chilly when DH got up to head out to work so I have that bad boy kicking back now...draft and vents wide open and it is on overdrive speed-wise..LOL!! I had to wash my hair this morning and nobody wants to wash their hair in a chilly house. Kids forgot to set clocks this morning so thank goodness my clock went off in time for them to rush out the house and still make it on time..I guess 2 days off in a row and the anticipation of Fri & Mon off was too much for them to handle!!!

Weight wise I am back down to my w/i weight from last week..woo hoo!!! Amazing what a little fluid pill can do to your weight. My feet feel soo much better..hoping to wear my regular dress shoes today to work.

I think I mentioned that I posted a couple of DD's Vera Bradley things on Ebay..well she has a bid on the pocketbook for $5.50..it is in excellent shape but I am still surprised it is that high and only listed Monday. She is sooooo excited but she needs to be as SHE PLACED BID YESTERDAY ON SOMETHING AND DID NOT READ THE FINE PRINT...so we have had the "talk" about she is NOT allowed to place bids on anything unless I am there to approve it. Right now she is winning the stupid thing and she hasn't even reached her maximum bid..she thought it was a breast collar for a horse (the ad is deceiving) but it is just a piece off the freaking breast collar when you get to reading in the paragraph. The ad states breast collar/tie down keeper...well guess what it is the tie down keeper...it is worth maybe $1 or $2 but she has bid $4 and max of $5 and shipping is another $4. GEEEZZZZZ....lesson learned there for me and her!!! She got really upset after I explained it to her and started to cry so then I felt bad for her too so she is giving me whatever the bid is if she wins out of her "horse money" to pay for it.

Okay..gotta dry my hair and hit the road...try to check back before I head out as work is going to be SOOOO CRAZY today and tommorrow!!!

Another restless night, not sure what time Cooper got into bed with us.....I'm chugging coffee...

Woke up to the sound of mike screaming at regan....she is such a challenging child....she is one of those highly dramatic kids that you just can't reason with, she doesn't compromise, no matter how sweet the deal is, it's her way or no way. it's very frustrating. mike is leaving again today, he's got park business and then he is going to get some stuff for the house...doors and stuff. The framers should be done by friday. he and i discussed lighting yesterday and i decided on recessed can lights in the kitchen and then 3 pendant style lights hanging above the island in the kitchen...I'm so excited!

Nik...I wish I had recessed lights in my kitchen...but we opted for ceiling fan with lights...I have them in my den and love them!!!! We never cut the big light on.

Quick hello. More traveling on tap for me today. Dropping the kiddos off at the inlaws today and then headed to West TN. I will be with my grandparents for the weekend to help out. No improvement with my grandfather's eyesight, but that is pretty much what they expected. They go to primary care today and neurologist Friday. I am looking forward to spending some time with them. I lived with them for about seven years from my senior year in high school thru part of college, so I am very close to them! And it will be nice to have a little break from the kids, although I will miss them.

Eating has been fair - there has been lots of junk around but for the most part I have made good choices. I have worked out most days. Hopefully that will continue. Better get the car loaded, but wanted to check in.

Jen~ Hope you get your day at home, but Jess feels better and the others stay well. Is Kevin still in OH?

Nikki.....I have that drama with Jess ALL THE TIME...does Regan have lastworditis too? My constant to her is "you don't get the last word, I am the mother" and she still goes. UUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHH

So I have a such a friggin headache this morning. Jess felt alright and went to school.....but of course though, not without a glitch. We were at the bus stop and she realized she forgot her flute.....the bus was already coming. So I got her in the truck, put Garrett on the bus and home we went to get it. We tried to beat the bus to the next stop, but just missed it. So I had to drive her to school, making me late for work....of course the boss was looking for me already at that point. So now I am doing a slew of stuff for him this morning, also trying to do my stuff, and on top of that I have my headache. I am having a great day!

Terry- I wish we had a woodburning stove at my house! Not big enough.

Nikki- I had that with Garrett and climbing in bed. I had to just keep putting him back in his own bed. After a few nights he got it. I am sooooo glad that the framers are almost done!!!!! Hooray!!!!!

Emily- i was wondering last night if you were here or in Tn. Hope all goes well with your grandpa!!! Kevin is still in Oh, yes. They are having a tough time on this job. The plant is doing the condensor shooting themselves and Kevin is doing Eddy Current....well it's new equipment and they are having problems galore. He thanks god he is not the supervisor on this job! Where is Jason at?
