Looks like I am the first one on this morning. I don't know why but I couldn't fall back asleep after DH left for work

..maybe all the trips to the bathroom I have been making..lord, I am down 4 lbs from yesterday morning--BRING IT ON!!! Got another pill to take this morning, if I can loose another 4 lbs I will be sitting comfy once again

. I am sitting here drinking my cup of coffee and listening to the news and weather--looks like we are in for a treat..a chance of snow flurries on Thurs morning mixed with sleet

--I surely hope it does it!!! We have a storm coming up from the gulf and cold weather coming down from you girls up north so it is the "perfect storm"..LOL!!!! I would love to see a little snow but they said nothing will stick and no messes just flurries and then changing to rain--WOO HOO!!! Maybe they will be wrong and we will have a 2 foot snow storm and get snowed in...I know you Nik and Jen you are rolling your eyes at me but I just can't help it...I really want it to snow.
I did good eating yesterday and DH & I made a trip to town last night for groceries for the butchering this weekend and I REFUSED to grab supper in town--end up coming home and heating up some veggies and pan frying (teflon pan with non-stick pam) some center cut chops. YUM!!! A pain for me since we were late getting in but much more healthier than anything in the fast food lane..right!!! We had a long discussion last night about how I want the meat done from the butchering...he was wanting to cure it and do country ham but I went into major details about my fluid retention and how I can't eat that crap anymore so he has agreed to cut some of the hams up into the slices and we can freeze them individually so that we don't have to salt and cure them..just for me

I also bought a container of "Salt Sense" at the store that is very low sodium but has the same exact taste as real salt..used it on the chops last night and nobody said a word so it must be good..anybody else tried it??? It was only 99 cents for the container and it was a good size. I had never noticed it before and I am always looking for salt subsitutes
Jen: Not sure sodium content on the pockets-I will check into that!
Xan: I love chicken bog!!! It is a huge hit around here...can't wait for you to give it a try. Also, have you tried the toastwiches from Schwan's...bought the kids a box and realized it is actually not bad fat gram or calorie wise. They are like flat hot pockets with cheese and a little ham in them.
Lizzy: Send your cold air on down so we can get some snow!!!
Angie: Glad to see you had a redo moment last night...you can do this...we all can, we just HAVE to stick together!
Barb: I have never seen a coyote except in the zoo...we do have them around here but only just heard one in the distance at night. They are scary creatures!!!
Cheryl: Got out bid on the prom dress last night but I stuck to my original "high bid" and told DD we would just keep looking--we have until sometime in April so we are good.
Okay...I am off to put another log on the fire...it is in the low 30's this morning..brrrrr!!! I know Nik, you are rolling those eyes again..LOL!!!
