glad you started this Jen. Well checked the work hot line and there is work today , Going to be very busy today I'm sure @ work. Not much snow has fallen here,but is now starting to pick up. So wont have to shovel until tonight. They cut back the snow totals in my neck of the woods. Just going to go slow going in. Was in a bad place mentally last night. Had nightmares too boot last night so didn't have a very good sleep. Wish me luck guys. The good thing is no red light foods in the house.

Good morning ladies.

I am definately feeling the activity yesterday! My legs are feeling a good sore right now. Jess had such a good time and told me she wants to go do that every Sunday. OK.....sounds good to me.
Scout is feeling 100x better......he is already trying to get out again. Grrrrr, I don't think so..especially since I have to give him medicine 2x a day. His leg is not swollen anymore and the limp is gone already, but his poor face is looking so bad from the scratches.

When I went to Wally yesterday, I also found a new flavor of the Fiber One bars......Oats & Caramel. I can't wait to try that today. That is usually my afternoon snack with a cup of coffee.

My meeting is tonight. I know TOM is right around the corner, so i am not expecting much.....but I did everything right this week, so that just means next week it will show up. Also on tap tonight is Jess' basketball pics....other than that, not much else happening.

Lizzy- I hope you don't get snowed in at work! Stay home! hehehe

I know Jen, I actually called our hotline again , it said they were open but assoc are to use their discretion. They said we would need to use one of our personal days or vacation days. @ least they don't make you use sick time.
Going to try to go in since I'm mostly highway going opposite of traffic. Going to be wicked busy I'm sure @ work. All the schools are closed around here. Usually takes a lot for my town to close the schools. If I were to use my discretion I wouldnt go in most of the time hee hee. usually only takes me 15 min to get there by high way. We'll see, I'll give myself an hr lee way which means I need to head out the door soon

When they close the schools because I weather, i stay home. I wait for the roads to clear a bit and go get work to bring home. Wish i could do that today!

Good morning everyone. We had a busy weekend....and we may have actually found a house. We were driving around on Saturday and found an open house for this fabulous place....that is priced way under market value. It is at the top end of our price range....(our self imposed...not bank imposed price range)....but I love this house. It is a model home with all of the upgrades. Granite countertops in the huge kitchen, 2 fireplaces. One is a two way...the other is in the master bedroom. 3 car garage....the pantry is bigger than my current kitchen with built-in counters and cabinets that really make it an extension of the kitchen. I could go on and on.....It has an offer on it right now with a contingency....we are going to submit an offer after we talk to the lender to find out details and hope ours gets accepted with no contingency.

It is a little of a risky move because ours hasn't sold yet....but...our realtor, my financially conservative IL's, my friend the mortgage broker....etc. all think that this one is too good not to try for. Our current mortgage is so low that we could afford both for a while if we needed to....and it will probably show much better without the 8 cats and a dog....so we are going to check it out. If it sounds shady or the interest rate is not right....we will move on and keep looking.

Other things are going well too. I was down at WI this week which means I was back in my zone. If all goes well, I will be lifetime by next Saturday. I will keep you posted.

Morning kids,
This is my week of LOONNNGGG days.
Will be moving on Saturday and Sunday. Dh and a friend ripped the vanity out of the "moldy" bathroom in the master, and it's not that bad. They fixed one leak, and will be taking care of the shower leak (just the diverter valve in the shower faucet) next week some time, in time for my mom's visit. Oh, did I mention my mom is arriving on 1/26...yeah, great timing.


Jen-I'm glad Scout is doing better. And Kevin can laugh all he wants about antibiotics for a pet. I'd do the same thing. You're right...you did all the right things this week, and if it doesn't show up this week, it will show up next. Hang in there, and hopefully you'll get a surprise.

Lizzy-be careful today. Sucks to have drive in that.

Lorena-Sounds like an amazing house. Be careful though. That's how our sellers got in the situation they were in. They built something else with no contingency on the sale of their old house. Way too many people in that position right now in AZ.

Ok, gotta get to work. Our landlords realtor is coming over this morning to check out the house and help her decide whether she wants to find another rentor or put it on the market. I think she's nuts to even think about putting it on the market right now. Houses in this neighborhood have held their value, but the time on market is incredibly long. And she's got work to do here if she wants to get her money's worth. New carpet would be the least of my suggestions, but hey, I just live in it, right

Sue. I know...and we have thought about it. Our mortgage is actually ridiculously low in this house. We could actually afford both mortgage payments. Plus the seller is the Trend Homes. They are trying to get rid of the last of the models in this sub. They are offering 6 months paid mortgage and HOA (not just tacked on to the end of the loan, but the builder actually pays.) which would give us a cushion of time to sell. We are very conservative with our finances.....so we will not risk it if it does not look like the right deal. I will keep you posted.
