Hello everyone,
getting ready to head out the door to get this laundry done finally.
Water was less than I thought yesterday even though I brought water w/me to the game, so need to step that up. Another walk in my future today since it's warming up. Might go to some outlet stores afterwards. Haven't heard from ex about a followup to what happened @ the game yesterday.

take care everyone
Lizzy

Good Morning Ladies!
I slept pretty good considering that Jess had 2 of her friends stay over last night after basketball. Garrett was soooooo upset because I wouldn't let him hang out with the girls after a while. His claim was, "but mom they're my friends too". UGH So we had a slumber party in my room just me and him and we watched Power Rangers whatever Force and the SPD. I fell asleep somewhere during SPD so not sure when he fell asleep. The downstairs doesn't look too bad this morning. I really thought the kitchen and dining room would be trashed. I haven't looked in the living room yet, but that is where they are sleeping so I am sure it is lovely. hehehe
Oh Jess' team lost and Blair's team won. I thought Jess did really good....so did her coaches and the one ref(the ref was one of her softball coaches). All 3 had said that even though she didn't score alot of baskets (2) she played awesome defense and made some really great plays. As a matter of fact, the other teams best player is who Jess was always sent out to cover(they have to rotate the girls because there are so many of them) and any time Jess came out, the other team sent their player to the bench. hehehe Makes me proud!
Oh another proud moment.....once we were all here and settled a bit, I fed the girls pizza, pepperoni bites, hot dog bites and cheese sticks and ice cream. I had 2 pepperoni bites and I measured out my ice cream. I went over my points by only 2 yesterday, journaled it and used 2 of my A/P's!!! You know how easy it is to start popping all of those things in your mouth!

Oh...if you have Turkey Hill Ice Cream(might only be PA) their Chocolate Pretzel is awesome!!! 3 points for 1/2 C. Worth it to me!

My abs, arms and legs are killing me right now! That workout yesterday did it and I didn't use any weights! This week I will start using light ones I think.

So on tap today is to finish making my grocery list, do some laundry, do some crochet and wait for the girls to get up.

Lizzy- How old were the people playing last night? It is honestly usually the parents fighting. I hate to say it, but last year I came reallllly close to getting into it with someone during a softball game. They were just being totally rude and make horrible comments....when one of those comments was about Jess, I went off.

Morning all,

It's wet and dreary here in Indy today...but it's almost 50 degrees so I'll stop whining! Furbabies and horses all fed and watered, Eddie is still outside playing in the rain...gotta love it. So the house will surely smell of wet dog once I finally get him to come in. His coat is so thick it takes forever to dry.

On tap for today: weights and resistance band, laundry, and mainly getting ready to head out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for all the great suggestions yesterday.

Lizzy - I was under on my water yesterday too, so I suppose I will be spending today in and out of the bathroom
Jen - What a good mom you are! I don't know how you do it with all the kids and work and everything else. Have you heard from Jilli in awhile? I sent Gina (Yogi) another note...my guess is she's just working through stuff right now.

Have a great day guys!

Morning girls...Lori, sun is shining here today and expecting temps to soar to mid-60's...it was really nice late yesterday afternoon and we actually shed the winter wear and only had to wear hoodies outside. Nik, I guess our artic blast is over for now.

Got lots of walking in yesterday afternoon around the fairgrounds..passed all the junk food vendors such as boiled peanuts and mini-doughnuts..decided to go to a seafood rest for supper and I ordered broiled fish, scallops and shrimp, salad on the side (although no f/f dressing so I did the "dip" thingy with my salad into the regular dressing) and a baked potato (I did add sour cream). I was so darn proud of myself as the rest of the table was having fried platters of everything..YIKES!!! Just shows me that I can get this 5 lb holiday weight back off and make wise choices instead of giving in to what others are eating.

Been up since before daybreak this morning..not sure why?? Anyhow, watched a movie and ate f/f popcorn in bed and skipped out on breakfast. Did get to see some really great "horse" moments as the sun was rising..wish I could have gotten outside with the camera..they were playing around and rearing up..it was beautiful!! It is times like this morning that I know why I love have the horses in my front yard.

Lizzy..crazy about the fighting last night..good thinking getting out of Dodge.

Jen...WTG on food choices yesterday!!! Glad you & Garrett had snuggle time.

Okay..gotta scoot for now. I need to get my shower and wash my nasty hair!!!

why are men such asses????????????? so mike calls and asks if i need anything from the mainland....i say, uhhh milk, i guess. he says don't you need more than that? i say, i'll call you back in a few minutes....i call him back with 16 items on my list....16 ITEMS....and he whines about it...."we just had a car over last week..... so you are back on "that" again (referring to friggin vegetables, broccoli to be exact)....so actually my list only ended up being 13 items, cuz i just figured the last three just wasn't worth arguing about.....

OMG, so i just called him back to get it off my chest...and he says, i just don't understand why we need spaghetti sauce, i would have bought a case of it to last thru the winter....ok, this is how my winter shopping went...he gave me a set amount for xmas...$300 per kid....then he gave me $300 for winter supplies...Ok, any of you with 3 kids and 2 adults in the family know just how long $300 can go to feed you all????.....NOT LONG...3 weeks, maybe....UGH....we used to spend about $1000 on winter crap.

ok, sorry, enough venting for me!!! lol....

this mainland house can't get done soon enough!

Hello everyone,
got my laundry and some additional grocery shopping done,as well as some crocheting done in my grubbies. Working on getting my soup done. Just starting now.

Jen- great job w/ the restraint on those fingers foods. those pizza bites are red light w/ me. We do have Turkey hill so will check it out. wish I had read the thread before I left. It was teenagers. so all that testosterone in the air.
Lori- supposed to get to the 50's and even 60's this week here.
Terry- great job avoiding stuff and eating @ the restaurant
Nikki- ugh about the shopping. I know when I used to work @ a grocery store, some people would spend that amt @ one time!!

alrighty gotta get cooking then walking
take care everyone
Lizzy

Well the wii has already started! UGH. I need more coffee first! hahaha
I am not sure what i am going to eat for breakfast yet. The kids were requesting bacon and eggs. I might just stick to my cereal...I am really liking that stuff.
Lori- I hear from Jilli more on our Myspaces! LOL If you could, please forward my email address to Gina...Jenwill630 at yahoo dot com...I would appreciate it. I have been thinking of her. Did you find out if any of the hotels have the mini fridges?

Terry- That has to be cool to look out your window and see horses! My inlaws still live across from what used to be my MIL family farm and I love looking across at all the animals.

Nikki- I go through that ALL the time with Kevin....as far as how much I spend. He doesn't gripe too much about the food though because he usually goes with me and see's that I have a list and how much everything is even when you go straight off of it. I rarely tell him how much I spend anymore! hehehe Make me glad we have 2 checking accounts....the one he doesn't go online to check the balance.....you know thats the one I shop with! Did he tell that framer to FOAD?

Lori...I just had an idea..is there any chance you could get a hot plate to take with you to the hotel??? You could keep a small cooler with you and take easy canned things you could heat up on the hot plate..I know when we were younger and went on vacations, my parents ALWAYS did that. We rarely got to eat out ever. We carried like soups and sandwich stuff. And there is plenty of other things you could heat up for quick meals. Also--the hotel we stayed at this summer had a 2 microwaves in the lobby area that any of the guests could use.

Hey Girlies...Happy Sunday! Was proud of myself last night...It's Gregg's b-day tomorrow and his parents wanted to take him out for dinner last night. Everyone got steak and I ordered chicken fajitas and just ate 2 ...planning on taking a walk shortly, don't even care what the weather is like. I want to drop these 2.6 x-mas crap lbs.!

Lizzy~What kind of soup are ya making??

Jen~I've heard about how parents get at these games..Oh Man!! that must have been nasty with the people talking about Jess, I hope you let them have it! What outlets have you been out to this way?

Terry~ I wanna wake up and see the horsies out in my yard!!

Nik~ Let him have it damn it!! Have a nice day girlie!

Lori~ enjoy the day sweets!! Safe traveling tomorrow!

It is supposed to warm up a bit here today...I think in the 40's. LOL heatwave....I'll take it over the teens though.
So the girls got up and the wii went on...right now they are doing HS Musical Sing it...OY!
I was a good girl and made the kids pancakes, bacon and hot chocolate....I stuck to my cereal....not even a piece of bacon.

Lori- I think the biggest change is going from 1 kid to 2...after that it is a piece of cake! LOL If they were all really little it would be hard....the running is definately hard with the price of gas though, especially since I have the truck while Kevin is gone in case of bad weather.

Liz- Oh I have such a big mouth and I will not stand for ANYBODY talking badly about any kids....but apparently I get worse when it is one of mine. I still have that NY attitude!!! I have never been to the outlets out that way, but know I have passed them on my way to NY. I am thinking they are not far past Harrisburg?

Oh....I am debating on going to see the madness of Punxsutawney Phil (actually it is Punxy Phyllis..I found that out during softball when the kids had their pix taken with her and her handler told me). We only live about 40 miles from there and Garrett had asked last year if we could go. I am debating it.....I think he still might be too little for all that crowd. Sue have you ever gone?

Oh well....time to do more laundry and get a little more in gear.

BBL
