Hello everyone,
very sore from working macy's last night ater work. They took me off the registers and just pick up clothes and make things nice in kids wear and juniors. I'm ok now after some advil and sleeping real well last night for a change. Looks like today is really my last day w/ the registers. I talked w/ my manager @ closing he said he might have some hrs for inventory in a couple of wks. So will join our lovely challenge afterall.

Jen- fingers crossed that Kevin can come home. I finally mastered that new stitch. Now am reducing the size as I go.
Nikki- ugh about the possible root canal. I'm convinced that as we get older the teeth just go. My problem was that I didn't floss enough(actually need to get back to that again) Ugh about DH too.
Xan-will check out myspace for the puppy pix. I agree the mt would be right up my alley. All those a & p courses from pt school will finally come handy. just worried not getting a job right out of the box.
Lori- congrats on the new addition!!!! Love the video on the blog. Miss Finicky has gone back to dry food again. sticking w/Iams but mixing in a bit of the old food to use it up. still trying to leave the wet food out as well. Will email you about mom.
Cheryl- hope the grocery shopping was uneventful
Terry- enjoy!!! Believe me I don't want to be there on Monday, when we tell people we can only give benefit info since a lot of our system will be down. I'm sure a lot of people will call in to check on enrollments & won't be able to get answers

alrighty need to get myself settled and get some crocheting done before work. not taking any chances and will shop my nephew's bridal registry tonight so I can still use my discount.

Morning...last minute company coming today...falther in law and his wife...sprung on me by my wonderful dh at about 7 last night! Our weather is taking a major turn and we aren't anticipating the ferries running much longer and we haven't exchanged xmas gifts with them yet. Soooo, the kids and I are up early getting the house picked up...

Good morning. I haven't posted in a few days....because things have been a little crazy around here. We go to WW for WI this morning, then we are packing up the dog to head to my parents house for the day. We are delivering our Christmas presents and helping dad set up his new computer. Also, my brother is sending an iPod shuffle to dad for Christmas, so we want to be on hand to help him set up his itunes, etc.

Anyway, I am sure that I am going to be up a little this week, but still within the 2lbs of my goal, so I am doing well. TOM was here visiting this week so I know a lot of it had to do with that. We really didn't go crazy on holiday food. Christmas Eve we were at the IL's house.....they do prime rib. I really didn't eat much of it. The sides were okay....and mostly healthy. I did have one little slivver of cheese cake....and then we did NOT take any leftovers home. On Christmas Day it was just the 2 of us. We didn't have much for dinner at all. We bought a spiral sliced ham, but decided not to bake the whole thing and to just take a small portion off and cook it in the pan. Anyway, the point to all of this rambling was that we really didn't overindulge this week.

Lizzy-I remember the discounts when I used to work retail. They definitely make some of the abuse from the customers worth it.

We just dragged ourselves out of bed a little bit ago and of course fought over who would make the coffee. LOL
So Now Kevin is leaving tomorrow instead of today, but the bad news is he won't be home for New Years Eve. I am upset but trying not to show it because ya know I am just too emotional. "insert rolling eyes"

I really do not have a plan together for today....clean up a bit and lounge. I was invited to a party tonight, so we might be going to that. It's a fundraiser for the HS hockey team that just started up this year. We know a few kids on it and one of the mom's called to ask me to be her date. LOL

Those with Wii's....did you know that we can send messages and I think exchange Mii's through the wii's? i found this last night in the "message center". Don't you want a Jen Mii on your wii? ROTFLMAO The kids laugh beause they say mine looks just like me spiked hair and all. hehehe

Lizzy- Glad that MAcy's is almost over. Does that mean next holiday season wouldyou get preference to be rehired? I have to find a new project to do. I think I am going to get started on mothers day projects.

Lorena- Have fun at your parents!

Nik- Guess what Kevin suggested last night? Going to cedar point for a few days! hehehe I said well we can stay on KI!!!!!! I need to find a place that would allow my Sasha though.


Oh well...I am off to play dominoes for a bit on pogo.

It's been a slow but relaxing start this morning! On cup of coffee #2 and it's finally starting to kick in. We're going to my mom's house this afternoon to have Christmas with her and my little brother. Looking forward to spending a few hours with him. Other than that, need to clean the house a bit and try and get this office organized. It looks like a tornado went through. It became Christmas overflow last week

Introduced little Miss Tongo (not so little really!) to a brush this morning. The girl has never been groomed and it's so muddy right now (as you can tell from her video). I stayed away from her matted mane and just brushed her neck and face. Once she figured out she couldn't eat it...she loved it! She and I have lots of work to do.

Terry - have a great time friend! Thanks for all the advice...will be hounding you for more I'm sure!

Lizzy - have you done any new cross stitch lately? I'm still working on that quilt for the baby that was born in August...hopefully I'll have it done by his high school graduation . I haven't been to my cross stitch shop in awhile.

Ok, been like the white tornado getting the house picked up...it's a good as it's gonna get!

Jen...where is Kevin headed this time? if you are looking to come here next year, let me know dates, remember that guy i clean for allows dogs. Not sure what he charges, but it's a nice 4 bedroom house. you know my kids have been on that dang Wii since xmas morning...we got Super Mario Galaxy, it is a blast, got Big Brain Academy on your suggestion and we love it, and then I got Regan a puppy game, which is irritating, but she loves it. We have had a blast with the sports games that came with it too...I bought a Wii magazine the other day where they rate games and such, the Wii Fit will be $75.00 when it comes out. I still want Dance Dance Revolution, might consider it for Alex's bday. Mike looked for it but it was all sold out for the holidays.

Lori...Checked out your video...the horse looks like such a love! and your home looks beautiful.

Good morning girls, Jr finally let us sleep in this morning, but he wasn't happy about it. LOL I am going shopping for necessities today if I can get my butt in gear. I want to have a New Year's Eve party at my house with my family and friends so I need to stock up. Usually we go out, but I am just not feeling it this year. Of course that may change, but right now I'm not feeling it! LOL I am going to go ride that damn stationary bike before I jump in the shower. Someone hold me accountable please! LOL

Lori: Potty training has its good days and bad. He goes to the puppy pad most of the time and if it's not too cold we take him outside to go (which he loves), but sometimes he'll go "near" the puppy pad. Invariably it's when I turn my head after he's been playing! LOL We're being patient though. He's still young. I have hard wood floors, thank goodness. That's cool that Tongo has figured out she loves brushing! You are going to have so much fun with her.

Last night we did Wii olympics....that crossbow game that comes with the zapper, all the sports games except boxing, the game party games with 3 rounds of darts then we played shuffleboard about 5 times until I could beat Kevin. ROTFLMAO...I hate losing!

Gotta go clean and I look like medusa so a shower is in here somewhere too.

Xan- get your ass on the bike! How was that? LOL People tend to stay in around here for New Years....too many cops and too many drunk drivers. That is precisely why we have memberships at the eagles which is around the corner...we can crawl home!

ohhhh Nikki....I was looking for DDR for my sister...could not find it anywhere. Maybe go online to Game stop and try there?
