Default Dec 25- Merry Christmas and Happy holidays!!!

Hello everyone,
and merry christmas!!
I was like a little kid and woke up 2 min after midnight. Of course I had only slept a couple of hrs. Managed to get back off to sleep and woke up @ my usual time.
Gave Miss Athena her gifts. Opened up the watch I bought myself w/ the change that I saved this yr.
Didn't get anything from sis(late again) or my nephews. Oh well par for the course w/ my family.
Just ate my usual xmas breakfast pumpkin pancakes. Yum.
On tap for today. Going to the movies to use up my free movie passes(Sweeney Todd) Already cooked up my lunch of chicken, stuffing, instant garlic potatoes and frz veggies. Want to take a walk(sidewalks are clear) and get some crocheting while burning some cd's. Maybe make a decision on the Victoria Secret certificate (just a little bummer that he didn't put more on it)

Terry- I know it's never easy to work right before the holidays. Hope the caroling callers were kept to a minimum. whoo hoo on the new size!!!
Xan- have a great day!!!
Cheryl- how nice about the raise.

Well ladies, I'm very blessed to have everyone of you in my life.
Hope you get everything you wanted today!! Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new yr as well.

Lizzy

Dad and stepmonster are here, so far so good!

Ok, gonna go have a cup of coffee and enjoy the quiet, I have a feeling it's short lived!

MERRY CHRISTMAS MY ANGELS!!Well it's a nice a quiet x-mas, having my cup of coffee. The kids are off to their other parent's houses. Gregg and I have a couple of hours to ourselves then we are off to get the kids and go to his parents. Had dinner last night with his parents(I cooked). Don't know what I got yet, I'll report maybe later..he's such a good man that he gets me lots of things during the year, I tell him not to bother...
I'm grateful for having found such a wonderful group of friends...I LOVE YOU ALL!! May you have a wonderful Christmas!! (((HUGS & KISSES)))

Lizzy~ Enjoy the movie, I want to see that one too, let me know if you liked it! Gotta love Victoria but they are pricey

Nik~You are too funny with the monster-in-law!! Hope it keeps going nicely...I find a drink always helps

Hello again everyone,
need to make the call to the family soon in FL. Going to wait a bit more, I think my oldest nephew had a midnite shift & was staying over so don't want to call too soon.
Went and saw Sweeny Todd. Kind of glad I didn't eat before hand. A little too much w/ the blood. But still a good pix. Johnny Depp plays character parts soo well. All were good. Ate my lunch afterwards, had Trans Siberian Orchestra playing in the background. Very nice outside so going for a walk. Should have looked ahead of time (my own fault) the frozen pie slice that I got was 9pts!!! So need to work it off. Just wish I could earn AP's by crocheting fast. LOL

Nikki- hope you have a wonderful day. Hope things go well.
Liz- have a good one. I just feel nervous when cooking for others. Haven't cooked for ex in a long time and actually never really cooked mom anything.
I agree Victoria's is pricey, and the gift card was not a lot of $$ but there are sales, just gotta choose 1 nice outfit, just deciding lingerie or a nice sweater outfit.

take care everyone!! Ugh I'm going to dread going back to work tomorrow!!!

Hey kids, Merry Christmas.
Santa brought me a set of house keys for Christmas. We are closed, and recorded and officially own our first home ever!!!! We picked the keys up last night and went over to check it all out and make plans.

Trying to use the happy to make me feel less lonely. Missing my family big time. I can count on one hand the Christmas's I've spent apart from my mom and familia. The last one, I was in a coma. Next year we're going back east, I'll book tickets now if I have to, lol.

We are heading for a chinese food dinner this evening. That's what all my Jewish friends used to do on Christmas when I was growing up...Chinese food and a movie, lol. We're skipping the movie, since we relied heavily on them over the weekend.

I too am grateful for my girls, and boy oh boy am I gonna need them in the next few months. I swear I'm not making new year's resolution to get rid of these pounds in 2009. This will be the last time I have a redo moment.
Hope everyone has a great day

Peace,
Sue

Sue
major congratulations on the house. I'm glad all the legal wrangling is all over and you can enjoy your first house w/o any hassles!!!!! I hear you about missing family. I waited until late to call them, I was doing fine until that pt in time. Couldnt get the time off. I just think 5 months away I'll be down there for my nephew's wedding.

Alrighty got an hr walk in.
Made my purchases from victoria's online. Used both the gift card and anticipated $$ from sis to buy 3 things. 1 a something something then a sweater and matching tank. Just have a feeling I might have to return something. I sometime hate buying things online. I have a weird shape so we'll see how things fit. I bought large just in case they run small or might shrink

take care everyone
Lizzy

Hello everyone. Late check in for me. Christmas was mellow just like we like it. Hubby and I spent most of Christmas day on the couch in our jammies watching movies. Today has been a busy day. I started my day off at Kohl's early morning sale. Hubby and I both received Kohl's gift cards from lots of our family members. (With our shrinking sizes....clothing gift cards are usually a safe bet.) Then I was off to yoga class. Today I took one of my former students who is now in high school. Her mom and I work together so we have kept in touch over the years. This evening hubby and I went back to Kohl's to shop for him. We found all kinds of cool stuff for him. He managed to spend all of his gift cards. I still have plenty left for future visits.

Food hasn't been too bad. I am not the model of a perfect WW person this week, but I am certainly not going crazy. TOM is here....so I have been a little up this week, but I should still be in the zone by Saturday.

Oh well....off to bed. I will try to hop on earlier tomorrow.

Lorena
