starting the thread before we get a dupe. Up way too early didn't get to sleep until after 12:30 and I was up around 4;45. @ least I'll get to mom's early then I can take a nap after I get back. Need to get legal paperwork for sis. I have already sent a few copies of this same thing already over the yrs and she keeps losing stuff!!! Maybe she needs to be tested too.

Terry- ugh about work ( we actually were given the day before xmas and xmas off this yr.) ugh about the eating. you know what to do to get back on track.glad you got a lot of shopping done. That shopping experience I've been thru, I've feel so sorry for the customer afterwards.
Gotta find something for kitty now for shopping, you've reminded me, she loves those cardboard scratcher, everything else she tends to ignore ( except my yarn when I crochet, her own ball of yarn won't do!!)

alrighty need to try to nap, long drive (around 2 hrs each way!!) so will do errands on the way back

Oh maaaannnnn.....so tired....went to bed at 11, but then cooper got in bed with me at 1:30, kicking, rolling....OY....I made several attempts at escape, only to be discovered and pulled back in bed, I finally made it out...not a pretty site, I'm sure....one foot off the bed first, then the next, then shimmy off the bed and onto the floor...on all fours, I crawled through the bedroom and to the stairs...lol....the couch was freedom and I made it!!!!!!! Had my alarm set to get up and get cardio out of the way, but that didn't happen and now I'm nursing my coffee, waiting to get a buzz.

Alex has a sore throat this morning, so she is staying home...otherwise feeling fine....she can keep an eye on Coop while I get a walk in outside...I would pull him in a wagon, but the snow is still too deep.

OK.....so last night it finally dawned on them to say happy birthday. I think because I was soooo pissy Kevin finally got the hint. I am kind of salty about that and not so much as a birthday card from any of them. BUT seeing the dishwasher working kind of compensates for it!

Alright....I am swamped here.

Lizzy- I hope you can have a productive day. Stay warm. Yes only 1 DPW guy....we don't even have a traffic light in our town! LOL

Nikki- Oh I used to HATE Garrett climbing into bed with me!!! He takes over the whole bed!

Morning chicks!
Haven't been on since Saturday! We had the inlaws over until yesterday. Jen I know how you feel about the birthday wishes, DH's parents didn't get us anything for Christmas! Kind of feel left out huh? LOL! Sheesh! Then we go to breakfast yesterday and I thought for sure she'd pick up the check, but no! Wow really feel left out! Don't get me wrong they are really nice and love me to death they just are cheap I guess! LOL! Oh well they are gone!
Going to Kohls today to finish up my shopping so I better get a list going on, my neighbor mother is going with me! Send me some patience please, I still don't feel 100% yet and keep hacking some nasty stuff up.

Jen...I know the feeling...my birthday seems to not hold much importance in this house. I kinda blame Mike for it, xmas is the same way...I asked him to take the kids shopping this year so they would learn to maybe give their friggin mother something...oh and their brother and sisters too, lol....did it happen? NO...I ended up taking them on Saturday so they could pick out gifts for him. It just really isn't fair...

Ok, I am joining the list of people whose dh and kids don't remember Mom! Kind of sucks, but I feel like it's my fault because I cater to them instead of the other way around. Jen, sorry they didn't do right by your bday. Kevin's still in the "learning" year so I bet he did learn a lesson! LOL
The Christmas recital went well last night. Faith and Brett were on the front rows when their classes were up on stage so that helped with filiming! LOL Today Faith has a dental cleaning and then we are going to go shop for some more stuff for Brett and hope she can keep her mouth shut. I already caught her 4 year old little butt trying to sneak into presents with her name on them! LOL

Yoo Hoo...I am joining the "Don't remember" list as well!!!! I do have to say my kids did remember my b/day this year and did great in the gift department but they actually forgot to tell me on my b/day until 7:30 that night. I know I am getting 2 xmas presents because DD had me pick something out Sat while we were shopping for her to give me...smart kid!!! Now I am supposed to act surprised on Christmas morning!!! But payback is hell my sweeties!!!!

Eating is better...thank God..I was ready to eat the Atlantic ocean...too weird!!! I ate an orange for supper last night and I was fine...I just have to stick to it for the rest of the holidays...right now we have pound cake and pecan pie here at work--GOD HELP ME!!!!!

Nik..too funny about Cooper...our blame cat has been sneaking in the bed with us and she wants to sleep right between my freaking legs...WTH???

As for the diet(lifestyle change) I am having a very hard time. We are planning on having a weight loss competition here at the office starting the 2nd of January. We will all put in $100.00 and whoever looses the most wins the pot. I think we have about 8 people that are going to do it so far. I myself think that $100.00 is too much money but I guess that is a big incentive. So I will really need to be a good girl. I am trying so hard at this (NO I"M NOT) I could kick myself in the big fat ass. I am not going to lie about it. I eat like it is going out of style. I know everyone gets tired of hearing me whine like a baby but I just need some willpower and some motivation. I am going to do this if it kills me. Ok about the in laws buying gifts my in laws suck at gift buying. I always get them something and for the kids birthdays they will send them 5.00 each and for Christmas they buy me and Bill something and maybe spend about $20.00 total and give the kids $10.00 each for Christmas. This is coming from people that have NO bills. Their house is paid for and both vehicles. They dont ever go anywhere and I know they can afford more than that. They are so cheap they have not seen us in 2 years. They will not travel to New Mexico to see us since they dont like the way New Mexico looks. I told Bill that we would not go back to see them after Christmas if they cant make an effort to come to see us. We both work our butts off and they sit at home on theirs so I say the hell with them they can come to see us from now on. Well I will check back in later but if anyone has any ideas on how to go about staying on track and really doing this please let me know. I am desperate. I have been back and forth to weight watchers for so long now I keep making excuses. I keep telling myself I am going to do this and the next thing you know my fat a** is back in the kitchen eating anything I can get my fat hands wrapped around. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! I think I am addicted to being a loser. Please help me. I just keep getting bigger and bigger. Have a good day. Angie

managed to go back to sleep for another 1hr & 1/2, sleep will be lacking the rest of the week. Went to macy's to shop, w/ my funny money that I sometimes get I got some $$ off some underwear. Whoo hoo living large.
Got to mom's found out she never did do a certain legal document,plus when I told sis I was there, she had happened to get a copy of the POA from the dr's office. Almost a wasted trip, decided to bring back here all her legal documents so I can copy them and look them over.
Still need to get strider in tonight. No walking for a while, sidewalks really bad.

Nik- oh man about DS, hope DD is feeling better
Jen- Oh man I'm so about that day being a special day & being treated like a queen. man your town is really small, I thought mom's was small,but you've beaten that, her's actually have 3 sets of lights!

Terry- ms athena has been avoiding snuggling up next to me lately, i've tossed and turned to much and push her off the bed.
Angie- maybe the first step is to figure out why you are wanting to eat so much, then go from there
