So the kids are on a 2 hour delay for now. I am not sure if they will just cancel or not. The roads were pretty bad last night coming hom from my mom's.

Nik- I am sorry about your grandma. ((((HUGS)))) and you are too funny with your grandpa comment.

Lizzy- Right now I am working on making snowflake ornaments to put with the teachers gifts. They look alright considering I am using a larger hook....it calls for a 1.5mm and I just can not use that small of a hook. I might make some quick scarves for the teachers.....debating.

Alright....I will be back in a bit, I have to finish getting ready for that horrible W word.

sidewalk plow finally went thru some time early this morning. so chopped my way thru where they plowed me in. Very icy this morning so put some salt down. Macy's tonight and day off from both tomorrow. Need to go to mom's though and go thru her legal paperwork.

Jen-the snowflakes sound nice, but what would be quicker for you?
Ugh about the delay. Some delays & closings around here but not close by.

Well I made it to work.
The main roads are fine, but the side roads in my town were yuck! Because we are a small town, we do not have large plows.......it's basically 1 guy in a pick up with a plow on the front and a salt spreader on the back that goes through town, except for our main road which the state maintains because of all the coal trucks that roll through. LOL Yes coal trucks, that is how rural we are.

Work this week is going to be a nightmare. Just and absolute nightmare. I normally do checkruns on the 10, 15, 20 & 25....well Christmas is the 25th, so I am combining checkruns on the 20th. It is going to take over an hourjust to print the checks. UGH I am not looking forward to it.
I also decided to take the day after Christmas off too.

In other news, I also decided that I am going to go back to meetings. I do not care if the leader of this local meeting knows me or not and I am embarassed that I fell so far off the wagon it is unreal. I am going back. If anything I can say to others that EVERYONE has to have it in their mind to do it, whether a leader or not.

Lizzy- The snowflakes are going on the outside of the teacher gifts. I am supposed to be making chocolate covered cookies again. I think I am going to stick with that and no scarfs.

Alrighty...another start over monday...lol...geeshhh...when will i just get it right???? Got up and did a total body circuit weight workout that i came up with. Need to plan my meals out for the day.

The island looks beautiful with all the snow...i'm just not ready to accept that winter is here...i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i'm able to get to the mainland one more time before the lake starts to freeze.

Mike is leaving today for training, he will be home wed., MIL is coming wed. hopefully i will be leaving for the night wed. if the weather holds. mike is leaving again on friday, he decided on a company to frame in the house and they are gonna start this weekend, mike won't be home till xmas eve. So there is my xmas break in a nutshell.

Ok, need to finish getting the kids ready...they had a delay this morning...can't wait till they go....heeheehehehe....

Morning chicks..OMG, work is going to be totally CRAZY this week..everybody wants it done BEFORE Friday since most people are off Mon (we have a 1/2 day)....I AM GOING TO BE READY FOR A FREAKING BREAK COME FRIDAY!!!! Sorry--needed to vent!!!

Okay..my eating sucked this weekend..I ate everything that wasn't tied down...WTH??? I was so mad at myself this morning...my w/i was up 2 lbs. Darn it all!!!! I could kick myself in the butt right now!!!

Went shopping Sat and got ALOT done...still have a few more gifts to get and I am finished!!! I think I am through with the kids..or least I am hoping I am...DD has the cat's gifts, the dog's gifts and the horses' gifts all bought...I think she spent more on them than she did her dad..LOL!!!

Hey girls, I had a mini melt down this morning because I am so far behind where I normally am this time of year. The whole season is slipping away from me and I haven't been "experiencing" it because I am constantly on the run. So I had a crying jag and got over it! LOL
Food went well this weekend even with the Christmas party on Friday night. I drank most of my calories so I was good to go with a lot of water on Saturday! LMAO
Tonight is a Christmas program for Brett and Faith. They had one last night too and my camera ran out of memory right as Brett stepped on stage. Luckily a friend of mine got it for me. OHHHHH, I forgot to tell everyone that I am getting my Christmas present on Friday. He's a miniature chihuahua and he's sooooo sweet! Our friends' dogs had babies on November 6 and we secured one. He's a doll. I'll post pics soon!
Jen: I am glad you are going back to meetings. I think that WW caused you a lot of stress, but you put so much into it and it really works for you!
Lizzy: I thought about you every time they showed Boston on the news this weekend. They said you guys have more snow right now than you got all last winter! Bundle up!!
Terry: Just tell them you'll gladly have it for them on Tuesday in your best Wimpy voice! LOL Guess what?! I got $200 worth of clothes from Aeropostale for only $69 on Thursday!! I felt like you!! LOL

Okay..gotta to tell yall my "Big" story for shopping for this weekend...went to a clothing store and bought over a ton of stuff...then because I was there before 10 am, I got 25% off everything on my bill....then I had a holiday vase (their special purchase for the day) that was $9.99 and it was to be $4.99 if you purchased $50 so the girl rings it up and it came up $9.99 so she voids it (and each time it is voiding out the $9.99 but also taking off an additional $4.99 for the price after $50 purchase)...she does this a total of 3 times ($4.99 X 3 off my bill) and then calls the Manager over who tells her that he is going to take 10% off my bill for my troubles...so he keys it in (I watch him)..then she decides to give me my 10% off the bill (LOL!!! can we say BLONDE!!!)...then I had a gift card that came in the mail for $25 off $100 purchase but it was not to include big sales, etc but I asked her to try scanning it and instead of doing that she just takes off $25 (she could not remember how to scan a gift card)...so my bill ended up being $85.76. Girls, I had 2 pair of Reebok's, clothes for DD, a man's coat, bath stuff, children's shirts, costume jewelry...I was upset after I saw the tape and we were in the car because I surely would have loaded the buggy up with that "sale"..LOL!!!!

Can I just tell you that not one person in my house has said happy birthday to me?!?!?!?!?! I am soooo pissed about that.

The only good thing right now is that my dishwasher is running!!!!! HOORAY. We went and bought it Saturday and kevin installed it, although he was not happy about having to do it. But I got my way and it is doing it's very first load of stuff that was in the sink. What a pleasure it will be tonight to tell the kids to clear the table and not have to look at dishes in the sink!!!
