Hello everyone
it's officially 4 min after midnight so figured I'd start the thread for a change got home from macy's a little while ago. They shifted me again to dresses. Really would like to stay in my dept for a full evening. Nothing major today, did do my extra duty @ my main job today. have the day off today, going down to the cape to check up on mom's place and put one of those christmas planters on dad's grave. Need to get an oil change plus try to straigthen out this whole primary care issue I've been having. They may have some openings @ a place up the street. Will check it out tomorrow.

didn't get much sleep unfortunately. Probably fell asleep about a 1/2 hr after I wrote before then woke up around 5 ish. ugh. Never really could get back to sleep. Got some crocheting done. Just tried to take a shower, but no hot water, guess all of us in the apt building was showering around the same time. See it does pay to get up early. will try again soon. Very cold here today. Was going to do the bike trail while @ mom's. That's out the window right now.

Terry- yipes about the luck lately w/ the washing machine, Hope dd was ok in school. wishing her the best w/ the upcoming tests.
Jen- I can't believe you haven't had a dishwasher w/ all the members in your household. that will be a lifesaver for you!!!
Erin yipes about the clothes shopping. you know how this works, you can do it.
Barb- love the idea for the family pix
Anna- never do check those pix out

Hey kids,
Oye what a weekend. We canceled the contract on the house on Saturday, as the sellers were screwing around with us and we didn't want to lose the 2K we put in escrow for earnest $. Come to find out that the CEO of Motorola stepped down on Friday, which we've all been hoping for. The new CEO fired the Chief Technical Officer yesterday morning, which is also a good thing because we have nothing nice to say about her, but now EVERYONE is being re-evaluated. Add to that a crazy weekend and a heavy conversation about the state of our marriage, I'm just damned fried.
I can't tell whether the universe is trying to protect us or kill us. Oh well.

Went for a run with the dog last night, which probably did not burn many calories since I'm so out of shape, but left me QUITE sore. She loved it though, so I'm going to try and do it more often.

Today I work, work, work, and I go to the gym. Have to get everything ready for ds birthday party on Sunday...it kept me awake last night, so I know I need to deal with my stress over it. Heading to the gym for a nice long ride this morning, much needed. DS sings at the state capitol tomorrow morning, he's so excited! Thinking about getting involved with the Phx boys choir next year.

Jen-woo hoo on the dishwasher. I don't know how I ever lived without one. That's an awesome project.

Terry-hope the day went well yesterday.

Erin-we all understand where you're at and are having a similar moment. Just make the commitment and move on. You can't beat yourself up for what you haven't done, but you can change it. That's what we're here to do, right?

Good morning ladies.

Sooooo we got snow overnight and we should get about another inch through the day today. Just enough to screw up driving around here. I am sooooo glad that I do not have to take any backroads!!!! I am not a hick yet.

Anyway, meeting with the lawyer went so so yesterday. I did not hire him for the case as he (and at least he was honest) felt we needed someone more versed in credit law. So I called another lawyer I had previously emailed and hired him. He seems to know his shit.

Today is work work work like you Sue. Tonight I want to decorate the living room all nice and Christmassy for Kevin's return. I am jealous of Nikki!!!! My hubby is closer to her right now! I miss his snoring and trying to steal the covers.

Lizzy- What afghan are you working on? I am doing hair scrunchies for Jess and Blair's basketball teams in the school colors. LOL It works up VERY fast and can finish one in about 20 mins.

Erin- We seem to be all on the same page as you with being on track. My mindset just is not totally there yet, but I am doing the best I can. I figure if I can maintain right now once I get done with PT at the end of the month, I will be on my own and can get my ass back in gear. I have to workout in order to get it all together.

Nikki- I am in coffee IV mode right now too for some reason. Enjoy yours. How much snow did you get?

Sue- Well I think if those people are pissing around so much then it is a good thing that you cancelled everything. Wait until after the holidays and start again. I hope everything else is alright.

And for those who are in shock that I didn't have a dishwasher.....trust me so am I! It has totally sucked without one but at least Kevin always helps with that. This is going to totally rock having one!

Hey ladies- Quick check in for me.... Six Flags was fun over the weekend... I am trying to figure out how to post a cute video clip I took of Tyler and Daddy on the Ferris Wheel on My Space....If I ever figure it out, I'll let you know........My Mom is coming over from Houston this weekend. She is officially back from Sweden. I am looking forward to doing some shopping with her!! I got a lot done in my school work yesterday and would like to have everything done by Thursday so I can have a 3 day weekend! Well, my DD overslept this morning so I have to drive her to school in a few minutes...Have a good day buddies!

Ok, I'm back...the stress level in our house is unreal! mike came home yesterday and is so stressed about the house, i feel so bad for him...i think he's going to hire a contractor to frame in the addition. with the weather getting bad quick, he is freaking. hate to hire as that is extra money we didn't count on, probably about 5,000 extra. this house would have been a good thing had it been purchased about 5 months earlier.

Had sort of a bad eating night, just stress eating, I'm sure....not as bad as it could have been though...makes me mad when i do that. i'll make up for it today. got to go figure out what i'm eating today.

Doctors visit went so so. My Dr wasnt in because he had surgery on Friday. So I was a little disappointed that someone didnt call and give me the choice of rescheduling for a date when he would be back. So I got to see this random DR that was there just to fill in for him Of course she told me WW was the only thing that worked. I know it but I was looking for a jumpstart. I do have another appt in January to go over my meds with him again. So I did great yesterday and stayed within my points so I will just keep chuggin along and make healthier choices.

I never thought that when we moved here I would be able to be comfortable in sweaters being that it was 114 when we moved and low and behold it's 45 degrees this am! Yippeeee!!!! I took out all my warm clothes last night and worked on the closet again! Today it's work for me, I have so much and that's about it!

Lizzy~Have a nice day off! What kind of afghan are you doing? I'm working on a knit scarf, but can't remember how to finish it up so it's going to be a really long one! LOL!
