Morning all,

Thought I would post that quick so we wouldn't have dupes. i can't believe my lizzy and nik aren't up...hope you girlies both got some much needed rest last night.

Well, the Christmas tree didn't happen yesterday. It was raining, blowing...ick. But the grocery store DID happen so I have some healthy food in the house. Need to open up my pomegranate and have some pom seeds on a nice salad tonight. Busy day today, so short and sweet here!

Terry - hope all goes well today. If she lost a lot of blood or is really anemic right now, add in a 6 lb loss in a week and the girl is probably truly feeling just exhausted. I'm not a mom, and you know her better than anyone else, but I would be tempted to just let her rest up before next set of tests tomorrow. Doesn't sound like she's normally the type of kid to wallow in self pity...she probably really does feel like crap. Hang in there...big hug to you!

Hello everyone,
couldn't get up for the life of me, 2 snooze bars later I'm up. Not liking the new shower head I got, but of course the box is in the dumpster so can't take it back, will try the old shower head w/ the new set up.
Icky weather here. Slight coating of the white stuff, but mostly sleet right now, need to drag myself outside in a few to see the car situation.

Lori-bummer about the tree, but sounded like the weather wasn't good. Glad you got the shopping in.

***edit- ugh the snow is that heavy wet stuff, thank goodness only a little fell, but needed to shovel away because it's going to get colder & that stuff will freeze harder than concrete. I did my part of the sidewalk, just wish my neighbors would get a shovel and do their share. did the plumbing switch & worked like a charm

ok, i'm back....today is the start of a new ww week...i did really good last week, here's to week 2. keep staying up too late, mike is still gone, he's ran out of time fixing the leaky pipes at the other house and got stuck over. hopefully today he will be home...if the ferries are running that is. not sure if i want him home, he's so stressed about the house, and who do you think gets it when he's stressed....????

Hey girls...I am at work and it is before 8 am...YUCK!!! Got so much crap to get caught up with plus being out tommorrow...oh and did I mention yesterday my WASHING MACHINE TORE UP.........I was so freaking pissed. Will not drain the water out during the rinse and spin cycles. It had been acting up occasionally but mostly if it is was overloaded or had heavy clothes in it (blue jeans, coveralls, etc) but yesterday it collasped in the middle of a load of socks with bleach in them that I had to dip water out of the machine for 30 min...took clothes over to a friends and rewashed and brought them back to my house to dry..calling in a repair man for tommorrow afternoon late or Wed afternoon. I CAN NOT BE WITHOUT A WASHING MACHINE...I WASH CLOTHES EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!! Another expense I did not need as well...let me tell you what..eating at a hospital cafeteria is EXPENSIVE!!!! I spent over $50 in just eating alone during the 3 days (plus DH). Not to mention having to give DS cash this week because he ended up missing work to come to see her 2 of the days (I wasn't going to tell him no--they are SOOOO close).

She went to school but she is not happy with me...I did tell her I would come get her if she gets weak and tired...she said she would try to make it until lunch (11:15). I brought a pillow and blanket for her to make a pallet in my office until DS gets out at 3. I talked to a nurse friend of mine last night and she suggested making her try to go...she said she will do better to be out and with her friends, etc than laying around the house by herself all morning (and I am 30 min from home during the day which did make me uncomfortable to leave her at home). She slept really good last night and I made her eat cereal before they left the house so hopefully she will do okay for a little while...my main concern is her bookbag is so heavy but she said a friend was going to help her with it once she got there. We did make a compromise--if she feels super bad on Wed from the tests tommorrow, she can hang out at the house then and recoup.

Today was w/i ---drum roll please!!! I am at 169...I have not been in the 160's for about 5 years...I am estatic over that!!!!

Well I woke up sooooooo late this morning. I couldn't fall asleep last night since Kevin left for OH. and then to get up was torture. The kids were still asleep so I had to get them up and moving fast. We made the bus, thankfully.

Yes....Kevin is near Nikki now! I am jealous that I couldn't go so I could hang with her. hehehe Just what the guys would want.....oh the trouble we would get into!
I got the new dining room set yesterday and it will look fantastic once I get the other stuff out of there. Everything is crammed in there. Kevin also told me something we are getting for Christmas....he told me he couldn't do 2 projects at once before Christmas, so either paint the dining room or the other thing.....I asked what the other thing was and it is a dish washer. YIIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. So of course I want the dish washer...and in by Christmas. Once he gets back we will go get it and then him and my Dad will have to rip out a bank of cabinets. I am not happy about losing storage, but I need a dishwasher so badly.

Soooo on tap today is work and I have to go see a lawyer at 2 about the credit card mess for Kevin.

Nikki- He is over at the HI express......if you hear of any disasters going on, you know my spouse was involved.

Terry...I'm jealous, I was hoping for the 160's this morning...didn't happen, maybe next monday!!!! that will be my mini goal. i hear ya about the laundry...it never ends...hope you get the washer fixed....i agree with letting kimberly try, she can always come home if need be, and it might do her good to see friends and take her mind off things.

Jen....OH A DISHWASHER...now I'm really jealous!!!!we have a dishwasher, and her name is Nikki...lol....mike's dad gave him a brand new dishwasher that came out of his new house (they redid the kitchen and it didn't match) so it will go in the new house..I can't wait...can't believe Kevin is so close! wish you were here too...we got to make that happen soon! which holiday inn is he at? i'm trying to think if there is one in the city of PC itself, I know there is one that is considered PC, but it's more toward where the ferries to the islands are.

Ok, I need to go get a menu going for today...gotta get strict if I want to hit the mini goal and get back in the 160's.

And I am the dishwasher at my house too. But when you feed 6-7 people just immediate family, not including any of the friends or if family comes over, it just sucks doing them. Honestly....Kevin is just so sweet. He feels I do alot and knows even when I do have the kids to dishes, they are not done to my liking so I wind up doing them again. He wants to save me some time.
NOW the kids can load and unload the dishwasher to my liking!!!!

Ok I had a reality check this weekend. I went shopping with my mom at Target. They had some unbelievable deals on womens clothes so my Mom was pulling all these tops off for me to try on only 2 of the 16/18 fit I was so sad and ashamed. I am going to the DR today for a check up for my other meds and Im gonna ask about a diet aid just to get me started and motivated. I will still being WW but with something to give me the added help I need. I cant even face the scale right now. This has been the most stressfull holiday season. Our well went out last month so we had to use our house payment and car payment to pay for the repairs on that so now we are 1 month behind and with the holidays it is just making it worse. Im hoping to get everything caught up by the end of January.

Okay so the new plan is to come here everyday and post. I come and lurk so now I will make it a priority to post and let you guys know how Im doing. I really need your support. And the only way to get it is to post. I will also post in the Whatcha eatin thread. If you dont see my post please call me out.

Terry - UGH about the washing machine. Mine did the same thing in October. I have to do two loads of laundry a day during the week or I cant get caught up on the weekend. I hope Kimberly feels better and all the testing goes smooth. You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers. OMG 169!!!! Im sooooo happy for you.

Jenn - I got a dishwasher last year for X-Mas. It was the best present ever. It is soo nice having the kids load and unload it. I was the same way about having them do dishes. I would end up rewashing everything
