wow it's now the last month of the yr!!! Watched Polar Express for the first time last night on the tv. Amazing work. Wish I had seen in on the big screen.
wi this morning up 1/2 lb. so 139.5. All day Macy's today. Hopefully things go smoothly. I have had threats that some of my coworkers might show up. Lots of people still out of the office yesterday. We did the best we could. Got some strider time last night & will do so again tonight (plus lots of pacing @ macy's)

Morning guys,

Busy busy today but I set my alarm and got 45 min of cardio in and then 20 min of strength training so "check" that off the list Gonna hit the shower and head over to my parents to move some stuff around for them. Dad can't lift with his heart and mom has a bum shoulder and had her endoscopy yesterday...sucks to realize your parents mortality huh? Endoscopy went as well as could be expected. No obvious tumor or ulcer...just a very reddened area so they took biopsies. Should be a bit before we hear back. I think this year for Christmas I'll just ask Santa for a happy healthy family...oh yeah...and to sell my house in Fishers!!!

Lizzy - have a good day today. I'm going to hit our local Macy's after I go to my folks. Glad Athena is eating her wet food.

So tonight I really want to rent Chuck and Larry. I heard it is hilarious.. we'll see..we are so backed up on shows we DVR'ed. We were supposed to go to a Christmas Party tonight but I really don't want to go and I think I about have my DH convinced we shouldn't go.. They are serving lasagna and plenty of other fattening foods I am sure..I just don't feel like dealing with it tonight... Tomorrow night we are going to Fiesta Texas (Six Flags). They have Christmas in the Park and a Christmas play. Should be nice. The Christams tree is supposed to be bigger than the one in NY. My Dad is still dealing with a bunch of crap but hanging int there. His wife has been emailing me with things to tell my Dad..like how Chase is doing (his son, my brother)and errands she needs him to run.....I'm like WHATEVER!!! Leave me alone!!! You shouldn't have filed a false restraining order against him!!!! Plus my Dad can't have contact with the family even through a 3 rd party so she is putting us both in a bad situation......Enough of that..... Well my girlies, Have a great weekend!!!!!!

Morning girls...we got some much needed rest last night. I was totally exhausted. Feel better this morning for sure. As for Miss Priss, she is still not "herself"...she slept all night and the fever broke and did not come back but she does not want to eat anything and she is still so weak. I made her take a shower and wash her hair this morning and now she is back in the bed. I am going to make her get up when it warms up outside and walk around...I think some fresh air and sunshine will do her good. Thanks again for all the well wishes and prayers.

It was so nice to sleep in a little this morning. Kevin and a couple of his friends went hunting this morning.

Soooo yes everyone....be jealous! Emily and our hubbies had a reallllly nice time at dinner last night! You know how when you introduce hubbies for the first time there can be that awkward silence? Not for a sec here. Emily is taller than I thought too. hehehe AND pictures do not do that couple justice........as beautiful and warm as Em comes across onlline and on her myspace in person is a million times better. Oh yeah and the food was good too.
I got a bit of the shopping done last night before we all met up, which was good.....plus a little something for me at Victoria's Secret too! ohhh has anyone ever used their lipgloss? I love that stuff and they had it last night 5 for $20 so i stocked up.

On tap for today....once off of here I have to update the Christmas lists with what I bought. Then in cleaning mode. We might go get our Christmas tree today, but I would prefer to wait until next weekend when hopefully Kevin will be home and then we will have all the kids and decorate it together. Also I have to clear out my dining room. My mom bought a new dining room set and is giving us hers. It is perfect for us.....seats 8 without a leaf....10 chairs...a seperate buffet table and a reallllly nice china cabinet to go with it. Now if my husband would finish painting the dining room we would be all set. LOL

Lizzy- Sorry you are going through that with Miss Athena! I hope she feels better. How is your mom doing?

Nik- Apparently the men know all about your power plant...oy they have had some dangerous issues!!!!! Enjoy your coffee....I am doing the same.

Lori- Your other house hasn't sold yet? UGH! Glad your mom's test went well. Hope all the moving goes well.

Allison- I would let your step monster know that while you appreciate her keeping yoou abreast of your brother, what she is doing is illegal. AND I hope you are saving all the emails too.

Terry- I am with you that some fresh air will do her some good. Even if she just sits on the porch or something.

Hey girls, I have been missing for a few but I am back. Things have been hectic around here. Found out yesterday that DH HAS TO TAKE SOME VACATION TIME THIS MONTH. Oy, he will for sure drive me crazy, LOL!! It is hard for him to take vacation because his schedule already gives him 4 days off, he works 8 off 2 works 8 off 4. So how do you squeeze in vacation when your 4 days off fall Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon? Very hard oh well he needs it.

Jen: how cool that your Mom is giving you her old set. Awesome. You got to meet Emily, that is awesome too. I just got the sweetest email from her, she rocks online I can only imagine how she is in person.
Lizzy: every time I see a Macy's commercial I think of you. Have a great day, hope Miss Athena gets better soon, sounds like a little progress is being made. The boys watched Polar Express last night too. They love it, as do I.

I'm having a majorly irritating morning...UGH...I am trying to send out our little local paper bulk mailing, but I can't get my printer to work...and I can not possibly write out 350 labels, but it looks like it might come down to that. my kids are driving me crazy and the mainland renter called and his pipes are frozen, so i had to call mike who is deer hunting several hours away and wasn't due to come home till tomorrow, and now he has to head home today.....hmpf....makes up for the awesome day i had yesterday...lol...food is good though and that's all that counts right now!

Hello all! I have to admit you guys are going to give me a big head. LOL! Thank you for the kind compliments. I have to agree with Jen... dinner last night was tons of fun. Not that I expected otherwise. It was great to get to meet Jen in person - she is fun, has a gorgeous smille and yes, still in the honeymoon phase. I definitely have to approve of Kevin though. He is a keeper. It just proved to me that we definitely need to ALL get together sometime.

I have not been too productive today. We had a lazy morning. Jason even decided to skip hunting this morning and get some rest. (That is a rare occurrance.) We ran some errands and now I am watching my TN Vols in the SEC championship. No, workout yet. Still need to get that in today.

Lori~ Glad to hear that your mom's test went well. I will say a little prayer that only you only hear good news and Santa brigns you all your heart desires.
