Okay...don't ever listen at the hospital when they say they will discharge you in about 10 min...our 10 min ended up being over 2 hours today. Last I talked to Jen, I had ran up the street to get a couple of things at the grocery store while they finished up some paperwork and when I got back, we still sat around for another 3 hours. Geezzz Louizzz..like I wasn't already sick of that place. Long story short and I see Jen did an awesome job of keeping yall abreast...we have to go Tues for more tests to be run at a pediatric hemotologist in the "big" city. We were at a medium size county hospital an hour away from our house. We will be going to a lot more advanced medical university on Tues. They are looking for the disease Jen told you about. It is not life threatening or anything but they think this is what caused a hemorrage in her adominal wall. Interesting fact is it is hereditary and I have a LOT of the signs of it. As for Miss Priss, she is asleep (it is 7 our time) and has been for almost an hour. She is so weak still but considering she did not eat from Tues at 12 until last night at 6, I can see why. She is extremely pale and does not do well trying to stand or walk for more than just a minute or 2 at the time. Only concern I have right now is that her fever had broke as of yesterday morning but once we got home and she was taking a bath and changing clothes, I noticed she was very flushed looking--guess what--fever of 100.4. This worries me. 2 tylenol and it is gone right now but if she continues to run it during the night, we are back to the peds floor tommorrow for the doc to see what is going on. They could not find any infection at all although her white blood cell count was extremely high on Wed morning but it was back to normal last night. We have been through so many tests in the past 2 days, it would make your head spin. I just can't wait to the her bill...

. I just have to tell you girls that this peds doc we were sent to in a round about way was totally awesome...I do not believe he has left a stone unturned at this point---(our family doc sends us to local hospital for CT scan and blood work, they send us back to our doc, our doc sends us to surgeon, surgeon admits her and sends her to this peds doc that took her with open heart and arms as if she had been his patient since birth)--even gave us his beeper to call if anything goes wrong between now and appnt on Tues. Gives me a renewed faith in drs!!!!
As for my cell phone....yall are going to laugh...my phone is about 7-8 years old...they do not make or service it anymore. It can get text messages but it will not show me who sends it or anything and I can't text back. I will have to say I could get used to texting however. It is so darn easy and you can do it basically anywhere. WOW..I know yall are laughing now...you are thinking damn she is a country hick!!! There is a reason I have held on to my phone for so long but it is getting to be where I can't talk but about 30 min before it dies, etc so I feel a new one is in the cards soon

.
Thanks for well wishes, hugs, texts, etc. You girls are the BEST!!!
