Hello everyone,
wiped out and didn't stay real late @ macy's, got out around 10:45. Wed I leave @ 11;30!! Took some sleepy tea, guess it helped a little, still took a while to get to sleep. They pulled me off my own floor again, guess @ least 12 people called in. I spoke to the floor person about Sat, he said they never told them that I called in sick. I heard the night manager raving about me and someone else since we switched departments for the night.

that's all about now, just need to try to balance getting the water and exercise in( @ work I try to keep on walking around the dept,that helps)
Glad everyone is getting that motivation to get thru the holidays!!!

Slept good last night, haven't in a while so that was nice. Mike is under some major stress, he took out a home equity loan to help pay for the work on the mainland house and he's crapping himself now, can't blame him, we were just scraping by on the rent at this place and only one income. Wish I was in the position to find work, hopefully next year.

I'm starting to get antsy...I haven't done any xmas shopping or winter grocery shopping yet, Mike hasn't had time to get a deer, so our freezer remains empty. Mike gets a check for all his comp time he never takes in a couple weeks, that is my xmas money. I just hate waiting so long and being down to the wire, my luck the lake will freeze early and I'll be stuck here...UGH....it's my last winter, it's my last winter (it's my mantra!)

Hey girls. Didn't sleep the greatest last night. My Dad is going through a divorce. We suspect his wife is cheating. Anyway, she has wanted my Dad out of the house and he has refused. They have a 6 year old son and he wants to stay as close to him as possible. Anyhow, it has gotten ugly. Last night when my Dad refused to leave she had left the house. He was sound asleep with his son mind you when the cops showed up at the door saying that the b---- was alleging that my Dad was threatening her. It couldn't be further from the truth. My Dad has done the opposite by being very civil through this trying time. They didn't arrest my 62 year old Dad but they made him leave. He is very close to his Son. His son is going to be devestated this morning. The b---- has been writing a book and is about as distant to there son as can be. However, she is now claiming to be Super Mom and threatening my Dad that he will get very limited visitation. My Dad has a few things on her and I think she is on the defense and playing dirty. My Dad has contolled high blood pressure and I am really worried about him..Please keep him in your prayers....

On another note, did great journaling and staying OP's yesterday! Here's to another day!

OMG Allison! That is just terrible...I can never understand why people let things get so ugly with little ones involved. I'm not for staying if your unhappy, but geesh, spare the kids as much as humanly possible...that kind of stuff breaks my heart. Hope your dad and his son get through it all ok. I have a friend, he's 31, he and his wife (he never married her technically) have 4 kids together, they started really young! she is just terrible to him, she physically pushes him around, treats him like crap. He finally left a couple weeks ago, she has since threatened him with never seeing the kids again, and now he's back home and miserable. she's got him by the b*lls, that's for sure. I told him to go to a lawyer and at least find out his rights, but he has such a terrible record (nothing god awful, but alot of it) and he thinks he'd lose the kids in a heartbeat, and he is the one who works umpteen hours a week and does all the cooking and cleaning on top of that! Why can't ppl just split without all the BS?

Hey girls..great to see all the motivation on here yesterday...made me actually think twice about my choice for our work Christmas supper...I changed from prime rib to marinated grilled chicken breast. Can't go wrong there and you know what, I am not even going to miss the prime rib..right girls??? I got to choose the sides for everyone this year (sneaky, sneaky) so we are going with garlic mashed potatoes, side salad, and steamed veggies. I am sure there will be noses turned up at those..oh well, everybody needs to eat healthier right!

My mom gave me $$ for my b-day to buy some clothes and I just automatically picked up XL tops...well, I wore one today but I am thinking after wearing it, I need to take the other back and switch for a L. I am lovin it!!!

We got rain last night...almost an inch!!! It was such a welcome sight!!! I loved driving home in it even when I could barely see because it was coming down so hard. We only need about another 12 nights just like last night to get our water table back up...we are way to dry..don't remember ever seeing it this bad...creeks and streams are dried up, ponds are drying up or getting "islands" in them. Even the swamps are dry around here which is NOT a good thing.

Nikki...our freezer is totally bare as well...not good is it??? DD has decided to take up hunting and missed a buck Sun evening.

Nikki- I'm sorry for your friend... I don't understand either why people have to be so shitty! I don't even think I have it in me to be so hateful to another human being....That's probably why I was with my Daughter's Dad for so long..... I couldn't get him to leave with out feeling bad and worrying about him...

Terry- Sounds like you had a nice birthday! Glad you got some rain! And way to go in the dinner choices!

i had such a good nights sleep, i zonked at 9-and never woke up once through the night...im looking a little puffy faced this morning-i would say it was well worth it! now i have to crack the whip on myself and get some work done.
it's so hard to stay focused when im behind a computer all day.
