was so wiped from errands and the cold this morning. so didn't end up posting last night. Feeling a bit better( no terry's home remedy) Did weigh myself this morning, not my usual day but am down to 139, big milestone so I'm making that official today! Guess it helps to be stressed and sick. LOL . Have macys tonight and early Fri, so no bargain shopping for me.

Nikki- that sucks about dad, but you have a good grp you''re spending t'day w/. Hey @ least you had offered.

Terry- supposed to rain for part of t'day here too. We actually had some snow yesterday,but melted straight away thank goodness

Hey speaking of Charlie Brown did you see the Christmas special is already going to be on next Tuesday? Sheesh! Seems like everyone is rushing Christmas this year. Our neighborhood is really decorated already! I am going to wait until Friday to pull out the tree, hope no scorpions got in it already! Ick!

Going to take Holly to school and then going for a power walk with my mom. Man I need to find a friend around here! LOL! After that I'm taking Chy to get something to wear for friday night, were going to see the Rocketts! Yeah!
Also need to start cleaning the house for tomorrow.

Hey I made some Pecan topped pumpkin bread last night from the new cooking light magazine! Can I just saw WOW!!! 4 points and well worth it! I was going to give the other loaf to Holly's teacher but nope!! Too yummy!

Been MIA, hope everyone is well. As predicted, the bank finally approved the selling price of the house we put an offer in on, so we'll be closing by 12/14. They wanted us to close by 11/26, yikes! Nuts, and not happening. So now things are really heating up around here. In the next month, we have T'day, school concert, buying and shipping ALL our christmas gifts, no less than 6 choir performances for ds, ds birthday party,and closing on a house. And then we move, lol.

I haven't been paying attention to food, and I'm annoyed at myself. I had to buy a pair of pants in a 14 for ds concert next weekend, and they only barely fit. I will NOT buy a 16. But I haven't had any time to workout either, so I have to really get my priorities in line.

Nik-I'm sorry about your dad. That sucks. I'm always amazed at how immature and stupid people can be. Dh's dad is a royal jacka** and we're always dealing with fallout from his cr*p.

Lizzy-Congrats about 139. I know you've been waiting so patiently for some movement. Woohoo for you! Good luck working this weekend. I hope that people are polite. I used to HATE the friday after thanksgiving, people are nuts. And then one year I went around with a big bag of hershey's kisses in my pocket and just started randomly offering them to shoppers who were waiting on long lines. It made a world of difference, lol. Hope you feel better. We have no family here for Thanksgiving, so we adopted someone else's lol. We're going to have a houseful of friends and their family on Thursday. They invited us over our first year here when we had nowhere to go, and it just sort of stuck. Try to enjoy yourself. I know how lonely the holidays can be when family is not around


Barb-you have friends here honey. We really should get together sometime soon. Don't you just love AJ's up there. Much nicer than the one here in Chandler. Although, you must make the trip for the new whole foods...omg! You could go out to dinner and drinks there. It's beautiful. This is the weather I wait for all year long. I'm MUCH happier now.

Terry-sorry about the rain...I remember nothing but rain on thanksgiving and easter, all my life back east. Always rained.

Quickie for me today..1/2 day at work and lots to get done before long weekend. Plan to get my cooking done this afternoon so I can relax tommorrow and enjoy my day.

Hey all Im checking in hopeing to work an early day today but I dont know about it. Food is great. My pants are fitting better which is a good sign. I have this stupid head cold and its killing me. Anyway I came on to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I wont be back to a computer until Sunday night and I'll prolly be to tired to get on. I am staying with my mom while my Dad, DH & Brother go hunting for the weekend at the parents cabin. It is a nice relaxed weekend. I get up at 3:00 in the AM Friday to get the best deals home and back to bed by 7 sleep for a couple more hours and hang out for the rest of the day.

Hey everyone...Woke up at 5:30 to the dog crying to go out. So i got up and worked out...now i'm soooo sleepy....oooooh, maybe i'll make some coffee....feeling better about my dad situation, well not really better, just oblivious....i called my mom last night and made her suffer along with me... I figured why should she go unpunished...lol...she apologized for reproducing with the man. anyway, thanks for all of your pats on the back and virtual hugs, i appreciate it!

looking kinda forward to making dinner for just mike and the kids tomorrow....think we are gonna eat more toward dinner time, i kinda hate eating at 2 or 3 and then being hungry again at about 9!

ok, got the coffee brewing...didn't get any this morning, we had a island wide power outage from 8-10.

Hey did anyone watch the biggest loser last night...???? that Kae is just amazing, what an inspiration she was...she looks amazing.

It's a hectic day here, especially because I'm leaving at 12:30 to start preparing for tomorrow. 1st. on my list is to go get my walk in the park, I hate the way I feel when I've missed a few days. I just wanted to get on here and wish "ALL MY GIRLS" A wonderful Thanksgiving Day! I am truly thankful for finding you all and I'm so happy that the same crew is still around, I agree with Lizzy that I couldn't do it without everyone here . MUCH LOVE TO ALL!!

Hi Girls!!! Sorry I have been MIA so much lately but I have been so busy and on top of it I have been sick for over a week. It's just a cold and a cough but it has been making me so tired that I have been going to be around 10:00which is early for me!

I just wanted to stop by and wish all of you a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! You guys are the best.

Food still hasn't been great but yesterday I started over and so far so good.

Finally back from my whirlwind shopping day with Chy! Had a very long power walk this am with my mom, we walked for an hour! Ouch! I'm so tired right now but need to start cleaning up for tomorrow!
