in the western part of the state they are expecting up to 2 inches of snow already. Supposed to be a mix here w/ mostly rain. Went to bed last night w/ a mild sore throad, still there today. Ugh,hope it doesn't turn into what I had a couple of months back. Took my day quil,gargled w/ salt water, now drinking my throat coat tea. I need to stay well, can't call in sick to Macy's either wed or fri, biggest days of the year.
got my strider and walk in. Need to get my quarterly shot today, ugh that means fighting boston traffic & maybe eating out. May just wait until I get home and eat something light.

Good Morning girls! Went to a pizza party last night and only ate a few pieces of the kids crust... I know I am weird...Came home and had a piece of the banana bread I made instead of cake and ice cream. Anybody going out shopping the day after Thanksgiving? I think I'll be out there. I'm just looking for the big ticket items....I would love to find a cheap digital camera, laptop, MP3 player, or kareoke machine.....My DD would like one of those things........well, really all of them but yea right! Tis the season! My DD and I went yesterday and found very cute dresses for the Quincenera we are going to on Saturday. I'll post some pictures over at My Space or somewhere.....Well, off to get started on school work......Have a great day!

Hey guys! Took Cooper to speech yesterday and then did some grocery shopping...nothing real exciting. Trying to go through and pitch paperwork today and try to get my life in some kind of order...ya right!

We decided not to go anywhere for thanksgiving, so I took out a small turkey that Mike won at the last turkey shoot and bought all the fixin's on the mainland yesterday, so it will just be us and the kids. I'm gonna call my dad and his wife and see what they are doing...our relationship has taken some strange turn since we moved off the other island...they hardly paid attention to us there, and they really don't pay attention to us over here!!!!! My stepmom has stopped acknowleging bdays, (kids too) she said last year, that they arn't gonna buy mike and I xmas gifts anymore...ok, i'm an only child...and they arn't broke...sorry if that sounds selfish....they came to my kids bday party this summer (cooper and regan) completely empty handed...WTF???? Didn't have to be anything big, but just a little something...geesshh. They had the nerve to ask me to put their name on something that I bought for regan that she asked them for and they never got, but no offer to pay for it. Oh, man I could go on forever...Sorry...were is that prozac when you need it!

Ok, I'm gonna be the adult here and go call and invite them for dinner...BBL

Hey girlies!!! Not much happening down south except the weather has turned off warm...YUCK!!! It was like really cool Sat and now today it is actually humid outside and DS has on flip flops...this is how everybody gets and stays sick down here! Now they are calling for a 50% chance of rain on Thanksgiving Day and we were supposed to ride horses all afternoon...we need the rain but did it have to rain the 1 day we had plans when it could have rained for the last 120 days????

Eating a can of soup for lunch today..Progresso Minestrome..kinda disappointed..mostly juice. Live and learn!

Lizzy: Go to the liquor store and get a 1/2 pint of Rock N Rye...drink a little warmed up with lemon juice and honey..works wonders on sore throats and congestion!

Barb: I found the turduckling or whatever the heck she called that dish totally disgusting myself..that would just ruin my day if I had to eat that. My SIL does alot of her desserts but I find them tasty but SWEET!

Nik: Be the better woman and invite them...maybe they won't come..LOL!!!

Allison: I have never gotten up for the early bird specials but there is one store that has something I MUST HAVE and DD & I are going to brave the crowds and be in line before 5 am. It should be interesting! I used to do the day after Thanksgiving sales when the kids were little and that was my chance to have pics with Santa, etc..but since they are bigger, NO WAY..I just do my shopping a long and a long.

Are any of you have problems with the quick reply...this is the 2nd day I have not been able to post quick reply...it just turns and never goes anywhere...oh well..

Hello ladies! It has been a hectic 2 weeks with the bosses back. Im doing OK with the weight loss I am back down to 207 but I would like to loose 10lbs before xmas. Prolly not gonna happen. I go to the doctor on the 30th and maybe he will hae some input. Im glad everyone is doing good. I dont know if Ill make it on before Thanksgiving. If not

Hey does anyone but me appreciate how the southern ladies deal with head colds? LOL, I am trying that remedy Terry and I am not even sick! LOL
Today is the last day of school for the week. I have to make a grocery run at some point today or tomorrow... I am out of everything good for me! It's 82 and dry here today girls, but if you can believe it we are actually looking at snow in southern NM on Friday and Saturday. Cold weather is supposed to start blowing in tomorrow and then our highs for Th, F, and S are supposed to be in the high 30's, low 40's! That will definitely get me in the holiday mood! Allison: I will be shopping on Friday! I love it even if I don't buy a lot! Weird, huh? Most people hate shopping in big crowds, but I love it!

Hello to everyone who comes after! Oh yeah, we got a new superintendent for the rest of the school year. He's been here as a principal and teacher forever so it should be pretty good... however he is type A to the max so I hope we get too "busy"

Just had a Healthy Choice frozen pizza for lunch and I'm still hungry! Wah! Went to AJ's and bought way too many things. But all point friendly. I took my point finder with me! Bought some Hummus and some French Onion Soup mix, I think I'm going to make that for dinner tonight with some grilled cheese sandwhiches. It's not cold here but I feel like having soup and a grilled cheese! Xan~ it's going to be cool starting on Tday here, only in the 70's! He..he.. I also got some Unagi for Chy, she'll love me today for that (unagi=eel). My mom told this saleslady at a store we popped into that we had a eel waiting for us in the car! LOL! I could just see an eel, sitting there waiting for us! LOL! Man I need to find friends here!!!!!!!!

Ok going to see where I can buy printer ink, that's not a zillion miles away!

Terry~ I saw tons of Paula Stuff at AJ's today, high in calories that's for sure!

Nik~ I invited DH's family for tday because their plans got cancelled and I did this mind you crossing my fingers that they wouldn't come, so cross yours too! It worked! he.he..

Called my dad and stepmonster, apparently they have gone out of the state to spend the holiday with my dad's cousin and his family...my dad's cousin and his wife have 3 wonderful girls (all around my age), 3 wonderful son in laws and lots of grandchildren...seems that my dad's own daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren just arn't enough fun...and didn't even warrant a phone call..UGH! Happy friggin thanksgiving dad. Didn't get a chance to talk to dad, he was out deer hunting with the "son in laws"...my stepmom said mabe he will give me a ring later....I don't know why this is bothering me, it's nothing new...I've been competing with everyone elses perfect children for as long as I can remember. Oh well, same crap, different year...
