Re: Tues,Nov 13th
Hey kids, I think the plague has FINALLY left our house. I went back to the gym this morning and was able to get 30 minutes of cardio in before I was done, wheezing, chest heavy. I'm trying to be careful not to relapse.
Jen-ooohhh, isn't the CYA great when it works. I used to have similar issues with a boss who would change her story ALL the time, basically because she was so disorganized that she never had any clue what she was telling me. I had to start a system of emailing her minutes from our discussions, with a list of tasks "just for her reference", so that I had a record I could point back to.
Sorry about the knee. That's a long time to wait for surgery. You're going to have to be REALLY careful. I think the swimming thing is an even better idea given your timeline and limitations. Water aerobics probably not a good idea though...even though you're in water, you're still putting stress on the knee.
Lizzy-7 mile walk, you go girl. Be careful out there. Get some pepper spray if you can. Maybe Ex can teach you some basic self defense moves???
Time for me to get back on track now that the plague is gone. I decided that I can't wrap my brain around the meetings here (can you say B-O-R-I-N-G). I know I've said that before, but it just feels so frustrating and like a waste of time. So, I've put both dh and I on a 1200 cal per day base. If we earn calories we can eat them, but if we don't, we eat our 1200 and that's it. Mostly fruits and veggies. I'm having a protein shake for breakfast every morning and some fruit. I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. How did that happen?
OK, back to work for me.
Peas,
Sue
