hope everyone survived Halloween. Hope all the kiddies costumes were cute ( or gorey LOL) Did end up eating more goodies than I had planned but still had my flexies to play with, did get my water and exercise in last night.
My poor sis!! My cousin managed to IM me last night about mom, right now it's WW3 in that house, about mom going for testing. She's scheduled some time next wk w/ the neuro to do more extensive testing. Mom is REALLY upset right now ( doesn't help that she has high BP).
That's the update in a nutshell. Have been going to the alz.org message board site also.

Morning...I'm draggin you-know-what this morning....I stayed up after the kids went to bed and watched Mr. Brooks, not that great of a movie...should have just stuck with the traditional "Halloween" movies!!! They had a great time trick or treating, the weather was perfect and didn't rain till late last night.

Mike bought this great computer program that generates floor plans and stuff, so he was up late working on that, it's pretty cool, but the instruction manual is 300 pgs long....and that isn't 2 languages! LOL....anyway, got to run and take the kids to school...BBL

So the kids had fun last night....so did mommy and the neighbors hanging out enjoying a few beers! LOL

On tap for today is work and then I have to run the kids out to my mom's for them to spend the night. In service day tomorrow. AGAIN!

Good morning ladies! Glad everyone had a great Halloween! Ours was on Tuesday, crazy! Jen and Nikki, I have to say I like the way your towns do the trick or treating. Sounding the sirens, they should do that here. We sometimes have people come ring our doorbell even after the front door is shut and the porch light is off! Where is people's common sense? I tell my boys if the porch light is not on or the people aren't setting outside we don't go to that house. We only go to a few houses anyway!

Jen: my kids have in service today, they had a 3 day week last week! UGH, they never go to school.
Lizzy: {{{hugs}}} to you! Hope your mom understands soon that this is all in her best interest. Hang in there!

Alrighty.....so I am back. I had so many things to try and get done this morning here in the office. Plus make arrangements for the kids.
Cheryl, I am right there with you in the kids are never in school! Lets see....this morning they are off this Friday, next week is a full week, the week after they are off on Monday (Veterans Day), then the following week off Thursday and Friday for Turkey Day oh and here is the best one...they are off on Monday the 26th because it is opening day of Buck. ROTFLMAO!! I live in such a hick town!

Lizzy- I am joining you in the quest to get the water in.....so far today 32 ounces....I try for 1 in the morning, 1 afternoon, 2 at home.

Nikki- So when does construction start? Do they rent houses for vacation on your Island? I am thinking of bringing the kids up next summer....spend time on the island and a couple of days at CP. Also...gotta be pet friendly as Miss Sasha would be coming...but I crate her when we aren't around so she wouldnt mess anywhere. Suggestions please?

Cheryl- We didn't have anyone ring after I shut the light.....we ran out of candy after 1 hour! $30 on friggin candy and GONE. My town is fun for the kids......everything they do is centered around the kids in the community. They didn't play the scary music last night though, which surprised me since they did it during the halloween parade last week. Yes this town is VERY old...on veterans day and memorial day they do services over the PA all day and everything. LOL I am surprsied they don't play the football games over the thing....but then again alost everyone in town is at the games and if not, you can hear it coming over the hillside.

Oh well....gotta run and do more work.

Calgon take me away......... DS seems to be doing better. Thank Goodness. I came to work early yesterday so I could leave at 3:00 to get the kids ready. We do a huge halloween party with the kids in the family & neighborhood. We carve pumpkins & decorate the Halloween Wagon (trailer that is pulled by our 4 wheeler) the Saturday before with all the kids who will attend on Halloween then Halloween everyone brings candy & a dish to pass we get all the kids ready and off they go. Okay back to my day...I get a call 20 Min after Im here at work from DD hysterical some kid pulled her chair out from under her and she fell and hit her head on the sceince lab table and then on the bar under the table So I had to leave work take her to the hospital to make sure every thing was OK which normally would be AOK but Everyone at work is at a job in FL and I am the only one here for the next 2 weeks. So needless to say my bosses were less than thrilled. But on the bright side every thing is fine with DD. The school just wanted a DR report for the records.

Food hasnt been so good TOM came a week early so that is probably why. I am trying to be good and track everything though. Need to work on water so that is gonna be my focus this week.

Good afternoon chicks!! Halloween was pretty uneventful around our house...3 trick or treaters and it was family..LOL!!! That is the good part about living out in the country...Eating is still going great! I only had 1 mini snickers last night...did not buy much so hoping kids eat that up this afternoon before I get home.

Watched the best movie this morning...I think it has just been released on DVD--Danielle Steel's Safe Harbour...what a great chick flick...good for a cry, laugh and 2 hours curled up on the couch!! Highly recommend...was only going to see what it was about after DH left for work at 4:30 and ended up watching the entire 2 hours of it..LOL!!!!

DS came by a short while ago--had a dentist appnt at noon--he has been complaining of being extremely tired feeling and just not feeling well in general for a couple of weeks..told me yesterday that he had a raw place in the back of his mouth...it is a WISDOM TOOTH that has already cut through the skin...wonder if that is the cause of his symptons..anybody know??? He still has braces on so dentist told him we need to start thinking about having the tooth cut out by at least the summer or he will never get out of braces--he has been in them for 4 years waiting on the bottom to due their thing and each time, they get into place by the next visit something is messed up again--well the wisdom tooth is coming in at an angle so dentist wants ortho to get some xrays and see if that is the culprit. Poor kid--he never gets a freaking break!!!

Okay gotta scoot...got somebody holding on the phone..later gators!!!

Hi all! Been busy with my mom and steve this morning at Lowe's, we got a rock river bed fountain thingy! Of course it was on sale for a ridiculous price! LOL.

Terry: poor Jody! You are definitely making your dentists house payments then aren't you? LOL!! With 2 kids in braces! I feel for him, I have a wisdom tooth that is trying to come in it only bugs me now and then so I will live with it. I'm such a hard head!

work was still slow today but will speed up quickly, members are starting to get their open season packages so will be very busy soon. I guess lots of changes, I'll hear more tomorrow. Bummed out about my check. I had worked ot for a couple of hrs last week, but since had a sick day the week before, can't get my time and a 1/2. @ least I got the extra hrs on my reg rate so the pay check is a little higher than usual but not what i was expecting. Still waiting to see if mom calls me up about the situation. Hiding on one of my other screen names for right now.
Did good w/ water @ work again, need to get the exercise in.

Nikki- cool about the program. Sounds neat, I'm sure it'll help a lot.

Cheryl- that is so weird that they have it the day before, what's the reasoning? My cousin that live w/ my sis and mom in FL is trying to convince her of that very thing, still wish the dr didn't slip
Erin- how cool about the halloween. Oh man about DD but @ least she's ok
Terry- great job w/ the candy!! Maybe DS getting an infection from the wisdom tooth, I hope not.
