Happy Halloween. We were told no Halloween party @ work, we were going to put food out on our file cabinets. But against comp policy. So we'll put some food in our cubes. I have some chocolates for my dept. Planning for 1 but that is it. Macys training went well last night. HR was upset that no one every checked up on me. Have another session w/ all the temps on Sat. Did better w/ water and ended up w/ 80

Mom ended up w/ 2 drs appt yesterday both w/ ortho and neuro. Don't know the full story yet from sis. Hard for her to email w/ mom hanging around. But the gist is w/the ortho. Not sure if they can revise her total hip because of the angle it was put in. A new wrench in the works is that the ortho said she needs 2 vertebrae fused. Oy!!
Guess there is a long story about the neuro too but basically mom failed a quick memory test, and the neuro wants to test further for Alzheimer's so sounds like our suspicions all these years were correct. Guess mom is not happy. But need to hear the rest from sis.

Need to get my water and exercise in tonight.
Was bummed out, came home from Macy's to watch part of the celebration rally, only to find out that my machine didn't record it. Bummer

Oh well need to finish up around here. Should be able to get on tonight. Hopefully I'll know more about things.

Good Morning Ladies.
Soooo the kids are already geared for halloween. They have to bring their costumes to school instead of wearing them. How silly. Anyway, their parties are in the afternoon.
Work has been soso all week. I am just really sick of this job and they know it. I am willing to bet that if it weren't for the fact that one of the girls in my dept is going on maternity leave in a couple of weeks, they would be letting me go. At this point, I really do not care.
I need to get my butt in gear with some sort of plan here as far as my weight. That TOPS just stinks...not motivating and no set plan in place with them. We know I won't go back to WW.
I THINK if I get my butt in gear with working out again, that would really help me...but the PT is not going to release me yet for that. Although yesterday I ran into Wally world and bought a stability ball and did that last night. I liked it, but the video that came with the tape kind of sucks. I guess I need to get used to the fact that I can not go all out full steam ahead with working out anymore or I will suffer everytime with my knees.

Lizzy- I am glad that the Dr. is starting to confirm what you guys have felt all along. Maybe now you can put everything that you are doing behind her back to the forefront. WTG on your water.

HI!!!!!! I"M BACK!!!!! Geesh I missed this computer, it was like having one of my kids gone! LOL....Hope I haven't missed too much around here, haven't had a chance to check on a weeks worth of posts. Took the kids to the mainland yesterday, Alex had a pediatrician check up, so I had to take all three with me...it was a long afternoon. But they all got the flu vaccine, which was good, they got the nasal vaccine so no shots! Here's hoping for a healthy winter.

Mike and I are still busy finalizing house plans, the minute we get something done, someone comes up with a really good suggestion and we have to start all over again. We passed our electrical upgrade (outside) inspection yesterday.

Kids have a Halloween party at school this afternoon that I have to be there for, need to go make caramel brownies so there is a treat that Regan can eat. Then trick or treating tonight....should be fun. We only have about 25 kids in the community, so they get pretty spoiled for Halloween. The amount of candy is astronomical!

Ok, my eating has not been stellar....ok, that 's out of the way....lol....got to go get the brownies made...just what I need right now!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! I just got done with storytime where all the little kids were dressed up, it was so cute! Still trying to get my butt back into gear. I did end up joining a new workout place but have been busy everyday and haven't made it over there. I need to make it a priority and get over there. Plan on going trick or treating with my nephew tonight, that will be fun. Need to stay away from the candy. The good thing about not being home is that I don't buy candy for my house!

Hey guys. Still trying to figure out what Becca is going to be tonight. She was going to be Snow White, but has decided she needs long sleeves and doesn't want a t-shirt under her costume. So, she keeps changing her mind. I told her I would give her a bit longer and then I wanted her final answer! As for candy around here... I have not gotten any. J and I are both going out with the kids. They sound a bell to start and finish the trick-or-treating, so nobody wil be home. When we get home with the kids I am going to let each one pick out 14 fav pieces and the rest is going in the trash. Part of me feels wasteful, but I figure nobody really needs the junk, especially not here! Since each kids will hav a certain number they wil know if mommy has been stealing candy. The lengths I go to keep myself away from candy. But, got to do what I got to do. Mateo favorite saying lately has been, "I am superman." So, he is going to be Superman.

As far as my eating, since Vegas, I am trying to eat based on calories. It seems to be working well. We wil see come Monday.

So I am home.....the dish network guys just left a few minutes ago and we are all hooked up. I love that I will be saving $$ each month now.
Garrett is going to walk with the older kids for a while and then come home 1/2 hour before them......us adults will be in front of the houses enjoying adult time......so in a few I have to run and get $ out of the ATM, grab a bottle of wine, pick the kids up, come home order a pizza, send the kids to pick it up (about 10 houses down) eat and get ready. LOL They start at 6 here...the fire trucks will sound their sirens to start. They play scary music over the PA system that we have here in town and the cops and firemen go up each and every Avenue through the whole thing to make sure the kids are safe. On top of that, the kids are only allowed to cross at certain streets and there are cops there crossing them. I will let the older ones cross the big street, but Garrett has to come home at that point.

Oh well............going to run.

Hello everyone,
work was slow today, should be gearing up soon,everyone is getting their benefit brochures in the mail. I won't be trained on the new benefits until Friday.
Got "volunteered" for yet another project. But this does sound interesting so we'll see. Need to show my supervisor my pay check to see why I didn't get pd ot status. I do have sick time and vacation time on there, just wonder what was the reason why? Was expecting a bit more money since it would have been time & 1/2.

About mom's appt- still dont have all the info but from what my cousin tells me, sis was able to go in w/ mom. the dr said there was nothing wrong w/ the mri
s( guess there was no placques, in some case alz will show up that way) Of course he was reading the med records out loud, guess he didn't read ahead of time and mentioned that daughter mentioned memory problems( well guess that's out of the bag right now!! ) He did do a quick memory test which mom failed(but she thinks she passed) She's going for more testing next week. She's not a happy camper about things. I really thought the reason why her dr suggested the neurologist was that something showed up up on the MRI. lets just say glad I'm not there right now!!!

Emily- can't wait to hear what Becca finally decided. I had one co worker came in real dressed up, she came as a victorian ghost. She had a real nice costume complete w/ victorian hat and weird contact lenses. Yup one more orientation( i think) on Sat.
