Hello everyone,
survived orientation @ macy's. Had to do a training computer program in the cellar of the place, not the most comfortable place. Someone was supposed to check up on me but never did. Ended up having some problems w/ the program so left @ 9 instead of 9:30. Not on the clock yet, so will stop @ HR today and advise them what happened. Was very wiped @ the main job yesterday. I had ended up watching the latter portion of the World Series. Still didn't get enough sleep last night. So hopefully I'll catch up soon
Going to bring a water bottle w/ me tonight for orientation, was very low yesterday.
They are having the world series rally today, why can't they have it on a weekend!! Gotta see if any of the local stations are covering it live so I can tape it.

Jen- congrats to Devan, sounded like a busy weekend. glad you're progressing w/ the PT
Emily- glad you had a blast. sky diving!! you're a braver woman than me!!

Morning Lizzy---wow I would not like being in the cellar of the building...that is just spooky!!!!

Had a good weekend and was down another lb yesterday!!! I am having some trouble with heart burn and wish I could figure out what is causing it. I have it right now and it is killing me. Was in and out of work yesterday--DH had an eye appnt and I went with him and then left early as well. I have also been watching the World Barrel Racing on my computer where the adults are competing. Gotta see my friends run!!!!

Well DH is off to his interview, fingers crossed. He was pretty nervous! LOL! Poor thing.
Anyway today I'm working and trying to finish Holly's treats she is going to take to school tomorrow, although they don't do anything for Halloween I'm sneaking treats in! Ha! I was surprised they don't let the kids dress up in costume, we always had Halloween parties and parades at the girls old schools. Chy is going to be a cat although I don't know if she is going dressed yet. (her HS can dress!) how 'bout that!
Had a great point friendly day yesterday, I even had room for a 1/2 cup of ice cream last night!

Barb..DH went because he woke up Sun morning with a black eye and the blood vessels were leaking into the white. The doc said that he had some sort of infection sometime in the near past and had caused the blood vessels to rupture by rupping it probably when sleeping with his knuckles and fist. This was good news, because we were worried it was something really bad. The eye looks horrid!!!!

Hello All ! DS is starting to get better because now he is protesting when it is time for his breathing treatments I was an hour late for work today so you can guess how the day started. I did a WI today and I am 207.8 but that is still technically 207 so I am pleased. Nedd to work on water though. My bosses are gone to Florida for 3 weeks on a project so it will be nice not to have them around buggin me but I'll be busy. I hope everyone has a good day.

Well, ds went to school this morning because it was "crazy hair day" and I got a call at 10 am that he wanted to come home. I should have made him stay home altogether, but he said he was feeling fine, just a cough and some congestion. Right now he's painting at the kitchen table

Erin, don't get a complex. Some weeks are just busier than others for us. We post as often as we can though

Teri-yikes about dh's eyeball. Freaky. Hope he's better soon. He's had a bumpy couple of months, hasn't he.

Hey all! Just checking in!
DH just called and they want him but he's playing hard to get! LOL! He just filled out his papers and now he is going to get drug tested. So I guess that means he has a job now! LOL! the pay isn't what we were used to in California but he does have other perks like a truck allowance and a gas card and I guess just the fact that he will be home with us, cough, cough! LOL! No I'm glad he will be working here instead of in LA. I just want him to be gone during the day.

Sue~ Hi buddy! what's up? Isn't it a beautiful day today! We took the girls to the Fair on Saturday, have you been? Same stuff and animals like LA county fair. We had fun though. And on Saturday night we took them to the White tank mountains for a haunted hike and games and roasting marshmellows! Kind of warm for that but Holly had fun!

Hey girls, busy day here too. When I wasn't emailing Terry! LOL
Started a new "program" today. We'll see where it goes. It does include healthy eating and an exercise plan. My exercise today will walking the kids around for "safe trick or treating"... yes we are the only town in America that does this BEFORE Halloween... don't get me started. Pretty soon our little town will celebrate Christmas in September or something... and Cheryl you know what I mean.
Anyway, busy night ahead as Brett has his last "regular season" football game tonight... I think playoffs for 10 y/o sucks... don't you Jen! LOL

Hello quickie from me,
passed the computer course from macy's whoo hoo. have 1 more orientation to go to on Sat.
Mom ended up having both ortho and neuro appt today. Unfortunately the ortho doesnt to repairs either. Ugh, we were told he does.
Now haven't heard the whole story about the neuro , but he did a quick memory tests and she failed big time. So they are going to test for Alzheimer's. Hmm can't wait to hear the whole story on this one, heard that mom is not happy...what ever that means.
