already got some busy work and organizing done this morning & its only 6. Did sleep real well the past 2 days so that is always good. Rainy right now, so may do strider and/or belly dance video. Do need to de clutter. mom will be staying down one night @ the end of the month.
Organizing my shopping errands and looking @ sales again. Have the Macy's group interview @ 4. Fingers crossed. Not thrilled @ wearing all black, but can pick up additional things @ a thift shop.
Back to keeping track of the water as well.

Day off??? LOL Not me! Work as usual for me today, although it is going to be a slow day because of no mail.
I was soooooo busy yesterday that I never got on here.
Saturday was soooooooo hot at the football field! I was dying in those 8 hours there. Garrett and Blair both lost, Devan won and scored the 2 TD's his team got. WooHoo. He was in on almost every play....his name was CONSTANTLY announced. Poor Kevin missed it. So after being so tired, I came home and finished ripping up carpet in the last area and scrubbed the floors.....was in bed by 10! LOL
Yesterday I was up but was at my mom's by 9:30 and at the stores by 10. We went to Lowe's and bought the blinds for the living room. I have a weird size...68, so they had to cut down a 72 for me. Then we went to Pat Catan's(craft store) and I bought a slew of picture frames. To decorate the living room, since we are all about our family, I am hanging pics of all of us all over the room in different size frames. I was up last night printing pictures. LOL So now I am just in the process of moving stuff back into the living room and that is it...other than the floor, done. Still not sure what we will do about the floor. Why I didn't think of this sooner, but my one neighbor is going to come over one night this week and take a look at it....he installs carpet for a living for 20+ years. Duh.

So on tap for today.....work and then home to try and reogranize the living room some more, then Jess has softball, I have my WI tonight (which if the scale holds I am down 3 pounds again this week) and then home again to do more organizing.
Kevin "should" be home by Saturday....hopefully. I think he works the last shift on Friday night/Saturday morning and knowing him they will immediately hit the road after that. It's only a 4 hour drive home.

Lizzy- I would definately hit the thrift store for black clothing!!!!! Good luck with the interview.

Hey girls!! I've missed you! Just got back late last night from a trip over to Houston to help my Mom do a few things. And as I've said before, school has been occupuying a lot of my time. I am still working on finding balance...........I didn't keep points over the weekend but tried not to do too bad. Anyway, back on track today. Still need to unpack this morning, get to the gym by 930 for PUMP, and start my school work for the week!!

Jen- Have fun reorganizing furniture! I love doing that!

Lizzy- I recently found a pair of black GAP capri's, Old Navy black pants, and Banana Republic black pants at my local thrift store! I'll have to read the past posts too see what's going on with you and what the Macy's group is. Good luck with the interview!

Morning girls! Another busy week on tap for me! YIKES....but the highlight of the week will be Wed. I'm going to see Menopause the Musical with 3 girlfriends...should be fun, we get to stay overnight on the mainland too...can't wait! I have meeting after meeting this week, Cooper speech and a couple houses to clean. At this rate, I'm looking really forward to winter...Turkey shoot was good yesterday, aside from it being 150 friggin degrees!!!!!! Did anyone tell mother nature that it is FALL?????

Anyway, got some major housecleaning plans today, so what else is new??? Alex decided to bring out her laundry.....ahem....it's been piling up for some time now....I bet I have about 8 loads, including the rest of the families! I also decided to clean under the couches today....OMG, don't know if any of your couches look like mine...but it is a scary thing under there....I just did the love seat....hmmmm that's where all those sippy cups and missing socks went...GROSS. I'm venturing to the big couch next...if I'm not back in an hour, call the national friggin guard....

Ahhhhhh couches and love seats......socks, bouncy balls, pencils, pens, wrappers, change under the cushions.......sandals, baseballs, puzzle pieces, crayons, toy snake, missing library book, spikes that don;t fit.....these are the things I found last week! LOL We sound like we are in the same house....I am on the same boat with laundry too...Jess decided to bring hers down and I almost screamed. I swear I am going to show her how to do the wash this afternoon and let her get a taste of what I go through. Not to mention that all the wash I have done in the past 2 weeks is still down in baskets waiting to be brought up because I don't feel like trying to do that and the living room.

uggghhhhh.

OMG!!!!! You would not believe the crap I found under and behind all the furniture in the living room!!!! Should have taken a picture....an entire container of plastic spoons, 650 crayons, 8 beer cans hmmmmmm, 3 dirty glasses, 2 dirty bowls, some tupperware containers, puzzle pieces, battleship pieces, mancala marbles, shoes, remotes, etc. etc......I have officially raised a household of pigs....oink...oink....and mike, who thinks he's gods gift to cleanliness....I'm sure the baby didn't put the beer cans under the couch when he was done with them...lol....

And, Oh yeah, Jen....2 missing library books...

Ohhhhhh Lizzy....what did you win on Ebay?

Nik....I am right there with you in the fed up with my house looking like a piece of shit zone. I think this is part of why I wanted to redo the living room so I could truly enforce the |keep the place clean" rule going. Over the weekend I also bought those wooden pegs to hang up sweatshirts and bookbags that will go in the pack hallway along with a shoe rack.....and my dad just read the kids the riot act the other day too....I was dying when my parents were at the house the other day. The kids have all heard my stories of growing up......if I was told to clean my room and I left stuff on the floor my dad would throw it out the window. It only took 1 day of coming home and finding the front lawn filled with my stuff (especially my beloved Grease album!!!!!) all over and my friends making fun of me for it that changed the way I did things. So my dad told them he was going to come over and clean their rooms. I think he realizes how much harder it is for me since my mom stayed home back then......she didn't go to work until I was old enough to watch my sister after school. Sooooo I think I am about to start dumping the kids shit out the window too to see if this will straighten them out......in a way they are lucky....my bedroom window growing up was at the front of the house.....theirs is in the back....so everyone won't see the spectical I am about to create! LOL

Jen-oh my about growing up like that. I'm sure you learned quickly. Hmm sounds like a plan before the snows come. No win on ebay, I'm actually putting up some of my wrestling magazines up and see if I can get some $$ that way. All they are doing is taking up space. A few yrs ago I had some low # issue ones and this guy in england snatched a lot up. We'll see. Just put 1 set of 3 up to see if anyone bites. I weighed them @ the post office today to get an idea of the shipping costs.

Afternoon girlies!!! Had the day off today and it has been great!!! Just kinda did my own thing with no time frame in mind at all. DH ended up taking off with me so we rode around, went to lunch, etc.

Talking about thrift stores, I found DS 5 ties there this morning for $1/piece..I was estatic. He & some friends have started a "trend" at school of dress up Fridays and they are now competing to see who can find the coolest tie. I found some really great ones for him today...the wilder the bettter.

Okay, so I started fresh today on a redo and DH is going to start with me. I did a restart w/i and was up 4 lbs but considering I have just been letting myself go, I am not at all upset.
