Hello,
and 10-4 good buddies. LOL
The hot water treatment worked last night on the poison ivy. Did it again today. Got my strider in during the game and my water in. Hope I can research @ work today, but doubt it since our service levels are down currently.
Take care everyone and have a good day
Lizzy

Good Morning Ladies.
Lizzy- I am soooo glad that hot water worked! Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!

So another day....just more being busy. The kids are off from school today so to the Y they go, then after I drop them off, I have physical therapy, then to work. This evening I have parent teacher conferences plus in between 2 of them, I have to run Garrett to football practice. Then after all of that, take them to my mom's so they can stay overnight.

OK.....so the remodeling. I do not know what I should do with the floor guys. My mom is telling me that her and I can sand it and refinish it. I don't know. Anyway, here are some pics from the room so you can see what I am dealing with. I didn't do befores and I should have, but you will get the idea.

These are just a few. There are more that I posted into an album in MySpace if you want to look. I still think I just want to paint the floor.
Ohhhh the one that shows the floor shows: the sides that were still in good condition, the really dark spot is what it looked like when I lifted everything and then the lighter colored part is where I cleaned it last night. What a pain in the ass!!!!

Alrighty....I have to get the kids up.

BBL I hope these pics show up.
Jen

Hey Jen,
saw both sets of pix. You could go either way really. Not sure how bad the floor needs to be to not be sanded. Lots of dust that way though. That is what mom is having a professional do to her floors w/in the next few wks.
ugh about the carpet. any option is better than that carpet!!!

Morning! Had a nice day on the mainland yesterday, after Cooper had speech I took him to the mall and let him play in the play area while I met my girlfriend Maria and we shot the bull. Didn't get home till 6:30....I'm off to the mainland AGAIN today....UGH....my girlfriend (the one who has cancer, I haven't talked about her in a long time) needs a pick up after her treatment in Cleveland this afternoon, so I'm gonna go in and get her, I'm happy to do it for her. So just a quickie for me! Miss you guys the last few days!

Jen....I would totally rent a sander and sand the floors and then polyurethane them or something. Painting is a good option too, but it will be that much more work if you end up unhappy with it in the end. I haven't had a chance to look at your myspace pics yet. Looks like a decent floor though, whatever you choose will be nice though.

Talk to youall later...!

Morning chickies!

Not much to report. Got home and was too tired to workout. Although I was listening to the Gayle King show on XM radio and she had a weightloss expert, I forget his name but he trained her in the past. He mentioned having a book out in where he recommends people not doing cardio, instead he promotes strength training for a leaner body. I was interested but didn't finish listening cause I was at work already....gotta look up his name. By the way, we'll have a new buddy joining us, her name is Melissa. She was at the other site and I asked her to join us. Hope everyone has an awesome day!

Lizzy~Glad the hot water worked, although it sounded painful, did it hurt??

Jen~Wow! Love the color!! I read Nikki's response, which sounds good to me too cause you have all that pretty wood around the house.

Nikki~Have a nice day today! Congrats on the loss, keep it up buddy!

All my other girls...((XXXX,OOOO)))

Hey girls, just a quickie for me...

Hey Jen, I LOVE the way your walls and the stair case looks together. Awesome job. As far as the floors go, we tried to sand some old wood floors in our last house, and it was disaster! You have to almost be a proffesional to keep it from getting waves in it. So we opted to put laminate wood floors over it, and it looked beautiful. Worth the money for sure. In our new house we painted the wood floors in Daltons room with the floor paint, etc. Disaster again. The paint comes up any time you move furniture, etc. I hate it. Can't wait to change it. That's just my two cents sister.

Okay girls I gotta et out of here for now. The boss is hovering.

Miss you guys!

Liz....Most fitness people will tell you that cardio isn't near as important as weight training when it comes to losing weight and being healthy. In fact alot of them recommend doing cardio only 2 days a week and weight training 3, but if you have more weight to lose, they so suggest moving cardio up a couple more days a week..I get alot less frustrated with weight training than I do cardio, my cardio just isn't that great.

hey Gina

Lizzy...I'm so glad the hot water worked, it is really nice to know that there is quick relief if you need it. Sometimes when I have poison ivy, I forget about doing that, and then when I remember it's like I won the friggn lottery...LOL..

Ok, I'm off to get in the shower!

Just a quick check in--Jen..hire a professional!!! We built our own house but we got somebody to come in and do the floors after we had laid them...no way I would ever attempt that and even with a professional we got a bum job first go with 1/2 the house due to extreme change in temps during the time they were finishing them. AND DUST..OMG, the DUST!!!! Stairs look awesome and the window and the wall of course --AWESOME JOB!!!
