Hey kids,
Trying to get some work done. I'm hoping to be finished with everything before noon so I can pack and get laundry done. I've never been so unprepared for a trip, lol.
Nik-glad to hear Mav is doing better. Maybe a "normal" acting doggie will make DH a bit less... well, you know. Dh's dad used to "cure" poison ivy by scratching a fork over it to open it up and then pouring straight bleach into it. Yikes. I can't even imagine how much that hurt. But it worked apparently. So you're not the only one
Lizzy-there's also a homeopathic for it which helps. Did you get the poison ivy wash that neutralizes the oil that causes the spread? I don't know what the name of it is, but my sis uses it for her ds all the time. He's CONSTANTLY got poison ivy.
Jen-I think sanding it and painting it is a far better idea than leaving a nasty carpet that has decomposed underneath on it. Tell Kevin that you can't even imagine what all your kids were breathing in every day...that might do it

I hate carpet. IF and WHEN we get this house, the first thing I'm going to do is rip the carpet out. I don't care if I have to leave bare cement for awhile, lol. I want the carpet gone everywhere by the bedrooms. Good luck!
Ok, back to work for me. I'm getting sick of being chained to my computer. But I won't be for much longer.
Have a great day everyone.
Sue
