She played 1st last night and made about 7 outs between grounders right to her and a couple of pop ups. She is pitching tomorrow though and I want to be there for that. Supposedly her one coach from all stars is going to start a pitching clinic at the end of the month. I hope so because the other pitchers from her team last season all moved up in age! She is the only one left from last season, so they are going to realllly be counting on her. She is excited by that though, but to get her to practice is like pulling teeth sometimes. She needs to comstantly be doing that flicking thing from the hip and even just practice her wind up. UGH She was complaining about the pitch back in the yard, so I bought her these plastic softballs that look like wiffle balls for her to practice in the house and she is still complaining....I went out and was catcher for her too....still complaining. UGH!

Oh yeah.....they won last night 10-1

Hey girlies!!! Okay we say "graduation is depressing??"...I am getting so overwhelmed by all this...announcement order, cap & gown order, senior pic order, sr trip meetings, fund raisers, ACT, SAT, college days, college applications..CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!! I am glad right now that there are 4 years between my kids--never thought I would say that!!!

Eating is good one day and bad the next...I am planning on getting my butt totally in gear next week...I have Monday off so I have a plan in action.

I don't have time for personals right now..I am not sure if I will ever get caught up at work..boo hoo!!! Take care and love you all!!!

OK....I have to figure out how to get this entertainment center that I bought at lunch into the truck! LOL The thrift store is holding it for me and I want to go get it before I leave work because to try and drag the kids with me is a pain in the buttocks!
All I know is I am proud of myself for getting that thing for $35!!!!! It looks brand new!

how's it going? the usual mayhem here.
had a busy weekend-did britt's 18th birthday (10 girls) at a drag restaurant. it
was raunchy-but such a hoot! then we hit the casino. i had such a fun time, im just wiped out-and sooo behind on laundry and chores etc!
and it doesnt help that work is still super busy!
doing well with the food...been really focusing on good choices/vs points.
i think it helps me avoid the binge cycle.
last night at dinner-i was so tempted for seconds-just because it was yummy. and miraculously i told myself i was not hungry-and took my plate to the sink. that's pretty huge for me. im such the eater even when im full/not hungry.
i think i'll get on the scale friday am.
im hoping i'll be out of the 180's for crying out loud!

terry: oh my sweet friend. i had such a hard time with all that too. such mixed emotions too. its hard stomaching the fact that they are graduating.
and then top that off with all the $$ that needs to be coughed up-it's a recipe for a challenging year that's for sure.

Hello, Hello!! I have missed you all. The kids and I have moved back to TN! Just kidding, but we did extend our stay. When Jason came to meet us a couple of weeks ago he said he might have to come back down the next week for business. So, I said I would stay. But, he did not have to come and he went to IL. No hubby at home and we can do school from anywhere. I thought... hmmm... I'll stay in TN for another football game! Go VOLS! It has been fun to get to see lots of friends I have not seen in a long time. SO, we will be south the rest of this week and then headed back home.

As far the weight thing. Amazingly enough, I have managed to get my workouts in and make some decent choices. I was up a couple of pounds this morning but I think it is due to that time of the month. Hoping to see a loss next week. Good to see you guys are still here. Will try to check in on a more regular basis.

Right now he is in MD but is contracted out to some company from Latrobe instead of his own company, although his company is there too for this shutdown. He is doing the Eddy Current on this job somehow. LOL Have fun in TN!!!!

Terry- I saw those tickets! OMG....no way would I be paying that. Devan thinks she is so hot. LOL She is his screen saver on his phone....or should I say old phone since he lost the thing!
I went and picked up my entertainment center! Me and one of the women here ran up and grabbed it. Lo and behold, I didn't have to take the cover off to do it anyway... I hate snapping those things back on!

Anna...just reread your post hoping it would give me some more moral support (sniff, sniff) and I am hooting over your proud as a peacock--never heard it quite put that way!!!! My mom stopped by earlier and we went over the grad package info they sent home yesterday...we found it was much better to go for individual items rather than the really, really expensive bundles they had put together for us. They are not going to pull the wool over this old girl's eyes..LOL!!!

OK....when she is doing the "Hannah" persona, she is blonde....when she is just Miley, then she is brown. LOL
