Good Morning Ladies.

I am getting restarted on the living room here in a few minutes.
So yesterday was hectic........when I was going to the football field about 45 minutes away, the only way I know to get there...wouldn't you know the exit was closed for construction! So I had to take this back way and had no clue. Thank god I got ahold of my one friend and she talked me there. BUT I knew I would never find my way home in the dark going the back roads so after Blair's game I left. She had a touchdown in her game! Garrett didn't play much and he is really upset about it. I figure it is his first year and he is learning, he is not going to play every game...but hard to make a 6 year old understand that.
So once home last night I finished priming all the walls and ceiling! Woohoo....I am on to painting! This morning will be the ceiling. I am not sure if I am going to need 2 coats or not....I am hoping not.

I did realllllly good with food yesterday...today will be a challenge later. The kids and I are going across the street for dinner tonight. Tom ALWAYS cooks something amazing (meaning fattening! LOL) I am not sure what is on the menu, but we will see.

Other than that...not much else. I haven't heard from Kevin since Friday so i am kind of pissed about that. We go through this everytime he starts out on the road for whichever season. I hate having to constantly email him about this crap. I really do. So I figure I am not going to call him....let him call me and he will have to deal with my cold shoulder.

Oh well.....have a great day...off to start painting!

Hey Jen! Sounds like one heck of a project you got going! Mike is the same way about calling me when he's gone and it really ticks me off....I still can't even believe he never called me yesterday when I was on the mainland with the dog....Now he's on my today about the new house and plans for the upstairs....I'm just no good at that kind of stuff, I was thrilled with the plans he drew up and then he gets all pissy cuz I have no ideas....HOW BOUT, I LIKE WHAT YOU DID??????? UGH...........

Eating is still awesome, I'm wearing some pants today that I couldn't wear last week, I'm not gonna weight myself till Thur......didn't get all my water in yesterday, but did awesome on the program! I took some good meds and went to bed at 9:30 last night.....got alot of housework done this morning and few more things planned to do.

Ok, Cooper is summoning me, that could be very scary.......hope he didn't crap on something...lol....sorry TMI.

Gee is it just us today?! LOL
I have no clue in the world either with house stuff. I have never decorated anywhere before, mostly because I never really took an interest in it and honestly never had a "home" before. I know that sounds weird, but I think you understand.
I have the ceiling done and one wall. I am hoping when the wall dries it looks better because so far it looks the same color as the ceiling. I hope I don't have to do a second coating. GRRRRRR.
So during all of this I am just now getting around to drinking some water....it's been coffee all morning. The kids have been pestering me all morning too.....they have been in the house so I just threw them out and told them it is too nice out to be in the house....those days of hanging in the house are coming real soon. So the kids and a neighbor are riding bikes over at the park on the next block. Oh yeah.....Jess finally learned how to ride a bike. she had such a bad experience last year trying to learn and wouldn't do it....somehow her dad got her to do it and she has been at it everyday now. Totally different with Garrett. He looked like a scene from Rocky in the spring with all the neighborhood kids running along with him so he wouldn't fall. Actually, Blair was the one who really got him going on that. Kevin and I can not take any credit for it.

I still haven't heard from Kevin other than a short email this morning, so I am pissed at him.

Oh well......gotta start trimming the other wall.

Man oh man Jen, are we the only ones without lives today, or what???? Lol.... Taking a break from cleaning...eating some celery....i'd really rather have the cookies that cooper is eating, but I'm loving the way my jeans feel right now, so I'm being strong. Trying to wait till at least 3 for my "real" snack...ok, off to switch up a load of laundry.

Ok, I am alive. I have been watching the Cowboys play instead of posting! LOL
Yesterday was not a good food day for me. It wasn't as awful as I have been in the recent past, but I ate out at lunch and I had a couple of beers last night with girlfriends... so I am swollen up today! LOL
I have been better today and we're having an early supper so that should be ok. I am making a pot of taco soup for the first few days of the week. It gets better with time as far as I am concerned, but I won't eat anything more than 3 days old! LOL
Jen, woohoo for Blair! I am sure that Garrett will come to love it again soon. I'd be pissed about the non phone calls too. Why is it that mean don't feel the need to let you know they are alive?! LOL
Nik: Well, I guess today is not a better day for you on the Mike front! Better check him for PMS, girl! I am glad that NS is still going well for you! Woohoo about the pants!
Ok, gotta go to my neice's bday party! No temptations there except to hurry up and leave!

oh my heavens. have to vent. was checking out mom's flight online for the end of the month. they changed it from non stop to a transfer @ jfk airport in NY plus change her aisle seat to window. yipes. we weren't notified @ all. managed to get it changed to an earlier but non stop fl to florida I advised she had a bad hip and needed an aisle seat. will check up online in a few days. luckily no extra charge.

Hello again, yeesh took forever to finally post. @ least the rest of the weekend went well, did get a lot of yard work done on Sat. Even though mom has a bad hip she some how moved most of the lawn furniture herself. Go figure. Did get a good work out Sat morning. I ran into a neighbor who was bicycling. I followed her on the way back while she slow cycled and talked. Took all my effort to keep up and she's a lot older than me. Good workout though speed walking might as well say. No word about neuro appt for mom. She doesn't see the reason why she needs it. Not sure what they told her about the scan. supposedly they told her every thing is "fine".

Nikki- what a weekend for you (((HUGS)) sounds like NS is working for you if the pants are starting to fit again. maybe it's just the thing you needed.
Jen- ugh about dh, glad you're getting some energy out on that living room.
