I'm looking to lose those extra pounds I packed on. I'm a chronic snacker, went from vegan->vegetarian-> eating chicken (fried) and fish (mostly flounder that my bf cooks). Apparently its really hard for a steak lover to date a vegan, and I'm sick of eating salads since I practiically had to live off those and junk food my freshman year. But then soph. year I started getting lax on my eating (there's only so much you can do living in a dorm room with no kichen and the only cafeteria staple being a salad bar although they got better to offer something vegetarian most meals). As you can expect I've packed them on, expecially since I stopped working out all together when I had an injury (and I keep putting off starting up again). So basically I need help for motivation. It should be/used to be motivation enough for my boyfriend pinching a love handle but now it just makes me run away to the kichen-I'm a big emotional eater (sad, mad, happy, bored, you name it-I'll eat). My class schedule is pretty erratic this semester, so I eat at odd times and more times then not its unhealthy quick food. I'm in an apt with a kichen now (yay being a junior) but I rarely ever fix anything other than microwaveables-and my boyfriend cooks way more than me-I just fix dessert food. Anyone else in a similar situation or in central north carolina? have a great day!

hey there.. funny.. i just sent you a message to your mailbox. and then bumped into your post!! Well I need to start eating a lot better than I am too right now. I dont snack as much, but i tend to eat a pretty heavy meal for dinner, which might be getting to me. Another thing I hear that makes a difference is eating a good breakfast. As a college student you know how hard it is to eat breakfast (was for me atleast). I also heard that eating smaller portions more frequently during the day also helps.. I dont know any comments suggestions?
