Default Trying to stay healthy from Memphis

Hello everybody, I was looking for buddies in Memphis. Well my main goal is to lose fat and gain muscles. I try to eat 6-7 meals a day with total of 2000 calories a day with 35% protien( or atleast that is what I aim for). I want to get into exercise routine. I try to exercise everyday but generally end up doing 4days a week. I want to increase it to 6days a week. I am trying P90 exercise video, which is fun to do. But I lack motivation to exercise everyday. I hope to find buddies here who can help me stick to my eating habits and motivate me to exercise. I can be a good motivator, and help others to achieve their goals. I am really looking forward to any advise and all motivational techniques. Thanks

Hey, I find it's best for me to exercise first thing in the morning, that way I get it over with and don't have other things to do that get in the way. Just make it like an appointment and schedule it in your day so you know that at this time you are exercising.

Hey you two! You were both people who responded to my journal tonight, I'm so glad you did! what's a P90 video? You can do it, it sounds like you're taking really healthy approach to your diet. I'm also trying not to get sucked into the idea of limiting my calories down to nothing, but am thinking much more about how to eat healthy in small portions throughout the day. I've found these great oatmeal to go bars and I always keep some of those and some hardboiled eggs or cottage cheese and fruit at work so that if I have a major snack attack, I have plenty of healthy stuff around me. I'm always looking for good tips on eating healthy and execising, so keep any comments coming! Youshould buddy up with me and elizabeth!

Your snacks sound great. I have never tried those Oatmeal to Go bars, but I need to do that...I love foods like that. I always have Kashi granola bars with me...they taste good and have a pretty good amount of fiber in them too, so they help you feel full. Sounds like you have a great mindset on the whole eating thing, so many people try to drop their calories too low.
