Default RE: How good is Curves?

HI! I am a member of Curves... and I love it! I have had a gym pass to a regular gym for a couple of years now and I never go! But there is something about Curves that you look forward to. I like the fact that its all women and we always have conversations while working out. Although Curves is good for strength training, its not enough! I do Curves for about 45 mins a day and then do cardio(usually tredmill/bike/eliptical) for 45 mins-1 hour. That seems to do it for me anyway! I love it... for the first time I actually look forward to exercise! Hope this helps! -Kristen

Hello. I actually joined a Curves in July and by November had lost 20 pounds and decided to purchase one. It is a fantastic way to build muscle and strength train. we as women don't get enough of that but need to build muscle to continue burning MORE fat! It's a fun a supportive way t work out. 30 min each time and 3-4 (or more) times per week. The monthly fee is very reasonable and I totally look forward to my work outs now. They also offer an advanced work out so if you ever feel like your are ready to "step it up" a notch they can help with that as well. I am continuing to lose weight and feel so much better with lots of energy. Go find your local CURVES and give it a try! Best of luck and stay healthy!

I swear by that place. As long as you eat healthy and stay within the right calorie range for you the fat and inches will melt off. I lost 30 pounds by doing curves and I lost 40 inches. It is a way cool place. Very non intimidating. If you want, they will weigh and measure you every month so your progress can be documented. And by doing that you are being held accoutable. I would go for it if I were you. That is just my opinion. It is actually very fun. I used to hate exercise and now I love it because of Curves. You will need to add some additional cardio in through out the week but it is an awesome workout. Go for it!

I have been thinking of joining curves and am so impressed that everyone has such good things to say! I went to their websit and saw they had some promotions. Right now for new customers if you buy either buy Curad Scar Therapy or NIVEA body Age Defying Moisturizer you get 2 free weeks. You just bring the reciept and the UPC code. Hope that helps!
