I jog on the treadmill and have done so outside as well too.* Right now I'm doing the treadmill because it helps keep my pace going.* I'm doing 3 miles at 4.7 takes about 40 minutes then I walk to cool down about 1/2 mile at 3.5 speed.*

I don't run either, but it's not required.* I have a herniated disk and walk for 30-60 min's per day (pretty damned slowly too) and I've still lost 20 lbs since the injury.

lol hadn't seen this forum yet until after i'd written mine...i was wondering the same thing about people running.

im working on being able to run for 30 minutes without any walking breaks. i was planning on adding 1 minute a day for the month of june but in the beginning i was many days ahead and then i was behind and since today im 2 days ahead again. i've been running in the afternoon (4-6pm ish). on a track (asphalt track) or if i have the opportunity, on a treadmill.

it sort of depends where i am as my parents live in america and im at uni in england. in england i go to the gym daily so i run on treadmills there.

so yeah, basically i try to run daily as much as possible. occasionally i have to take a break when i get shin splints or just don't feel like running.
