Default RE: I don't get the endorphin rush

i know what you mean. i thought that with continual exercise, aren't you supposed to sleep better at night? I don't think my sleeping patterns have changed, cause I still feel kind a blah when I wake up...

Yeah, it's everything. You're supposed to feel energized, alert, sleep better, better sex? and about 1000 other feel-good things but I'm just getting any of that from my workouts. I keep doing them because I want to lose weight and be healthy. I was just hoping for more of a dramatic effect. I hear people say all the time how they lose energy when they don't work out consistently. Not me.

Default I don't get the endorphin rush

've starting working out (again). I definitely don't enjoy it yet, but I try to think about the results and not the work involved. Still I've thought about this for a while, but I've never gotten the endorphin rush from working out that 'they' claim you should. That includes when I was wrestling in college and working out 3 hours a day (and was down to 4% body fat). Seems damn strange to me. Either I simply don't get the endorphins or I'm not 'tuned in' the effect. Maybe I have such an aversion to exercise, that it's blinding my ability to let the endorphins kick in. Nonetheless, I'm still trying to make some kind of exercise a habit. Just curious what other people have experienced.
