Default "Slim in 6" ??

Good afternoon, all!
I am looking (needing)*to add some at-home workouts to my routine, as there are days I just can't drag myself to the unairconditioned gym where I have my membership. Does anyone have any experience with the "Slim in 6" programme? I don't necessarily believe the infomercial-type promises it makes, but it seems like it would be a good anyone-can-do-it workout. Am I correct in this assumption?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

**** I don't know anything about that program... but I wanted to tell you to check out sparkpeople.com
*** It's free and besides lots of other perks, it will design a fitness program for you with demos on how to do the exercises.* Good Luck!

I have been doing it off and on for about a year now.* I wasn't in good shape at all when I started so I never followed the actually program just did it at my own pace.* I LOVE my "slim in 6"!!* After about 2 or 3 days you will really feel a real difference with your body!* I have bad knees, back, and neck and actually found this puts less strain on my almost always pain areas than other programs.* Good luck!* Stick to it and you will love it!* Hugs, Libelle

Hi,
I've considered ordering the Slim in 6 program.* First of all, let me just say that regarding their suggestions for eating, I can't respond because I have my own system I'm using for nutritional purposes.* I didn't give that aspect of the program any thought.**However, I absolutely believe the exercise portion of the system is affective and can deliver exactly what it promises (provided the user follows the program).* I've come to learn that weight loss isn't as difficult as many may think and it's highly possible to obtain those kind of results in much less time than is traditionally thought.
Slim in 6 seems to me to be just a different version of Tae Bo.* (I've had success with Tae Bo 5 years ago and completely got rid of the pudge that was hanging around my sides.) These two workouts have similar moves and techniques... only Tae Bo is more of a "kick a**" type of workout, and that kind of thing keeps me movitated.*
I believe if you got Slim in 6 and followed the program, you'd be pleased with the results.* It's really all about what works for you and what will help you maintain consistency with your exercise.**
There are a lot of good programs out there, but some will motivate YOU and some won't.* You really don't need an exercise video.**What we need is to be disciplined and consistant.* The programs are designed mostly for motivational reasons. *If you think you could remain motivated and consistant with it, then it would a good investment for you.* If Tae Bo didn't exist, then I would probably get Slim in 6.
I hope that helps.
Looking forward to seeing you cross the finish line!!
Jenn
