Default August Exercise Accountability Thread

I am officially done with August. I worked out 23 days this month. I will start Sept. on Friday with a long walk. I did not fulfill one of my goals which was to do yoga or meditate. I tried yoga for beginners but seriously, besides liking a few moves I've incorporated into my stretching post-workout, I didn't get into it. I do, however, need some serious relaxation methods. So that is something I will have to work on. I hope this month went well for all of you as well.

My August workouts will be the same I being pretty good so far so I will keep my July routing...I am working out some times the whole week. I do 20mns elliptical, 35mns treadmill, 25 mns weights and about 75 to 100 situps....I hope this month I can keep it up...

My August goals are to continue to exercise on the eliptical every weekday.* Also everyday I will do ab work and either arms or leg work.* So, for Aug. 1st, I did the eliptical 30 min. , did abs, and arms.

My goal for August is to be able to run for 10 minutes straight on the teadmill. Currently I do 5 minutes each of walk, run, walk, run, walk. I'd like it to be 3 walk, 10 run, 3 walk, 10 run, 3 walk. I'm also shooting to get my weight down to 200 this month!

My August workout goals are:
  • To Workout at least 6 days a week
  • To walk at least 30 minutes a day.
  • To Go to the gym at least 3 days a week.
That's pretty much what I did this past week so hopefully I can continue to stick to it! Good luck to everyone else with meeting your goals this month! I think it really helps to post them like this. It's a great motivator. *hugs* to everyone!

HHHMMM my goals for August:
  • *to drink a min. of 8 glasses of water a day
  • to walk for 1-3 miles a day for 5 days
  • to do a video (cardio, ab, etc.) 3 days a wk.
  • to push myself as hard as I can to get motivated..(in July I did great for the first few wks. but then I had a major downslide)
  • to be happy with myself and my life!!!

Hello,
I like this idea of posting a monthly goal. I am new to BuddySlim, so I am still maneuvering my way around. Ok, my August goal is to go to the gym 23 days out of the 31. I usually do weekdays, but if I miss one weekday, then make it up during the weekend. Also, twice a week do yoga and breathing exercises. And by the end of this month, be able to do all 12 reps twice of my arm muscle group exercises.

I plan to walk every day in order to do my 10k Aug 12 - and after that I will still walk everyday to keep in shape.
