Question Namaste Yoga

I do about 30 minutes of Namaste Yoga a day (from FitTV, aka Discovery Channel). I like this, but the commercials are annoying. I was wondering if someone could recommend a good yoga DVD series for beginners/intermediate. I want something that eases into moves and goes step by step, basically something that is easy to follow.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

The only ones I have done were with Rodney Yew something, I got them in the local library. Appart from the eye-rolling commentary about expanding through your whatever body part somewhere, it was nice (but I assume all yoga and pilates uses the BS lingo). It was flowing power yoga. Public libraries are a great resource when you are looking for new things. I am sure Kathy Smith has a good beginner yoga workout - she usually is really good at the entry level anything. You can always check lists and reviews at amazon, they generally are pretty informative.

Hey I love the Namaste Yoga. I get up every morning and do it. It is great for stretching the muscles. Especially my back. I am a server and I tend to carry some heavy loads on one side of my body and yoga really helps me feel better. Not only my body but it really helps me to get my mind clear. Something great to do if you are having a stressful day and need to clear the brain.

I'm very new to Yoga. I went to a Marshall's (a discounted type store) and got this whole beginner's yoga kit - mat, strap, block, and a free beginner's DVD for like 12 dollars. I just tried the DVD last week for the first time, it's called The FIRM Slim Solutions Yoga Workout with Allie DelRio Pointer. Like I said, it's for beginner's. It goes very slow and eases into everything. It really stretches you out. I love doing it, especially at night because it calms/relaxes me. I figured this is good since I'm new to this, so maybe you would like something like that too! I figured once I get better and increase my flexibility I can move onto something more intense.

I have my doubts about my flexibility going to increase ever, but I am on the look out for a discounted DVD myself. Checking it out of the library is Okay, but being a spontaneous soul, I like having stuff on hand when the mood strikes me!
