Default Intensity

Hey guys. I jog, but I'm slow. :O
I want to transition from jogging to running eventually. Any suggestions to break my intensity barrier? How do you guys transition to more intense workouts? Can only fit so much exercise in an hour. Want to make that hour count.

Hi. I struggle with this too, going back and forth. I want to run for several weeks, and I'll work up to two solid miles, then give up again for a while and have to start all over. So the secret is: jog for a few minutes, then run for as long as you can. Then jog to catch your breath, then run again for as long as you can. Do that as many times as you can during your hour, every day (or every day that you go jogging) and after a week or so, you'll be increasing your running time.
