Default Walker's club, anyone?

I just got a pedometer and I've been doing a lot of walking lately. Sooo, I'm wondering if anyone wants to start a "walkers' club" where we post our daily step count. If so, just post here! Maybe we'll just start a new thread everyday where members can chime in with their numbers.

How did you choose your pedometer?* I have been wanting to count steps for a while now, but have been intimidated to start because I have heard so many of the pedometers on the market are either cheap or inaccurate, or both.* Any suggestions?* I would love to join you in the walkers club!

I went by the ratings on Amazon.com. The one I ended up buying was reasonably prices ($18) and had rave reviews. It's the Omron Premium Pedometer. Here's the link to reviews:
