Unhappy Flabby inner thighs....

I have been faithfully going to the gym, and I can see a lot of results... except in my inner thigh area... this gives me a lot of problems!! Anyone know of any exercises that will help slim this area up?? I have heard to place a medicine ball between your knees and squeeze, but I just don't feel like I'm doing it correctly. Ideas? Helpful hints? Anything??

Hi Mary

As you are probably aware, we cannot spot reduce. However, by doing cardio, decreasing calories and including weight training results are more likely to follow.

In regards to your question Spark People have a list, description and explanation of a lot of different exercises and it's FREE! I often use the site to design my own program, so I hope it helps you.

Good luck.....I would love to know how you are going

I wish spot reduction was possible my hips and bottom would be smaller in a flash...... sorry for giving you information you already knew!

One thing I have learnt though is weight training is great. I am pear shaped and although I do an whole body workout, I have been concentrating on building up my shoulders....I look less pear shaped now.

Oh, if you find anything that works for inner thighs can you please tell me? I have the same problem and would give anything a try! THANKS!!

Hey.... don't be sorry!! Thanks for the site... it had some interesting moves targeting the inner thigh. Just want to feel those muscles being used. As I loose weight I can see that area softer and I just wanted to try to target that area to build muscle there. Ya know how it is...

Thanks though.. I'm pretty 'pear shaped' myself.
