Walking is my prefered choice of exercise.** I read in a W/W magazine that a average person should walk a minimum of 10,000 steps per day.*

I have bought a cheap pedometer at walmart, I have it all the time on me all day. Check it out. Also I walk for nearly 2hours at fast speed every other day. I think its very good exercise. Its very easy on your joints and doesnt wear you out. It depends on what you want in exercise, but I surely enjoy walking. Also when you have to walk for long time, try walking outside, it gives you enough distractions to keep you going.*

I just started walking again and it's great. I have two walking groups which is great because I need to know someone's waiting for me or else I'll find a million excuses to sit on my butt. I just ordered a pedometer, I think it will be a good motivational tool!
