Default Cardio and weights on the same day?

Hello everyone, I hope that you had a great weekend and everyone stayed warm. We had some cold weather and it's still here in Greenville.
One of the questions I get asked a lot is "can I do cardio and weights on the same day?" and the answer is Yes. I often put people on programs where they do both. The only thing that I tell themis that they should do a 2 to 5 minute cardio warm up on treadmil or bike. and then hit the weights. Depending how intense the weight routine is you should do fine in the cardio area afterwards. Cardio should be 20 minutes minimum in your target heart rate. Many of my clients can only make it in the gy three days a week so they have to do both cardio and weights on the same day. Just remember that you need to do the warm up first, weights, and then cardio. The reason that I tell people to do cardio last is if you do the weights last you could be too tired to hold the corect form and this could result in a seriouse injury because you pulled something, or dropped something on you because you were too tired. Also you will benefit from the stand point on burning calories as your heart rate will reach it's target rate easier.
I hope that this helps some of you if you were courious.
Blessings always.
