Hi everyone! I am joining your commit to be fit challenge! I am very excited about being in different challenges as weight loss is a huge deal for me! I neeeeeeed to do this, its now or never!

My goals for this month are:

1. Lose 10 pounds in the month of October!
2. Decrease my junk food and fast by 75% (Only as a special treat and only on weekends)
3. Excerise! A foreign word to me! Excerise & lots of it!
4. Drink water like I never have before! & Green tea!
5. Fruit and Vegetables! Every day.
6. Stop hating myself, learn to love ME.

2. walk 45m
3. Hiking in Forest Park 2 hrs
4. p90x - yoga x
5. off
6. Walk 45m. 300 workout for women.

The 300 workout looks interesting. I will modify it because there is no way I could do it as it is:

Squats x 50 at 70 lbs (ass to floor)
One Arm DB Snatch x 50 each arm at 15 lbs
Push Ups x 50 (male push ups, not the female version)
Sumo Deadlifts x 50 at 75 lbs
Pull Ups x 50 (at 80 lb offset)
Ab Waves x 50

I Just started today But so far

Oct 5: 30 mins walking (moderate intensity)
Oct 6: 40 mins walking (moderate intensity) + 10 min Jogging (Low-Med)
Oct 7: I plan to walk 40 mins (moderate) & 20 mins of Turbo Jam if I can find the DVD! And I plan to do High intensity with Turbo Jam!

Did my walk and ran some yesterday. I had a good day. Felt great, and happy. Today woke up with a headache and felt pretty blah all day. No walk today.

Saw one of my dr's yesterday who told me that any dr trying to tell me that I have multiple sclerosis off one mri, should not be taken seriously. He told me that I need to have a lumbar spinal tap and that it specifically tests for the antibodies and antigens that they find in MS. So, when I see the specialist on October 29, I will ask all about this. And, until I get a definite diagnosis, which for now, I have a "Maybe" diagnosis, I was told to not take the MS injections. So, it's a wait and see attitude and approach for now. I do want to be sure before I start treating for something that I may not really have.

1: 30 min. Kendall Hogan Calorie Burn, 60 min. Get Ripped 1000
2: 20 min. Dance Party, 70 min. Cardio Camp, 10 min. Ab Jam
3: 50 min. running, 45 min. Crunch Total Resculpt
4: 55 min. running, 60 min. P90X Legs & Back
5: 40 min. Tae Bo AMPED, 20 min. One on One Abs, 45 min. walking
6: 10 min. dance aerobics, 60 min. Get Ripped Slim & Lean, 30 min. Fit to the Hits

StaceyC, I hope your doctors can get it together and figure out how to help you best. Waiting must be hard. Hang in there and I'm so glad you are still here working out with us instead of letting all this stress bring you down!

jumping right in for this month.

october goals:

1) keep a journal

2) workout at least 4 days a week

3) reduce soda intake
