Fantastic - so we're all set for a triathalon challenge
So far from the blog there are 5 of us - but feel free to jump aboard - You can start anytime - just post your starting date and complete the challenge in 2 weeks for a high 5 and many "Woo hoos".
Your mission should you choose to accept it is ....
One body, two weeks, 3 events
the Olympic triathlon, comprises a 1.5km (0.93 mile) swim, a 40km (25 mile) bike ride and a 10km (6.25 mile) run.
To complete the first part of this challenge you must complete these three events over the course of a week. so for example you might swim 1.5k on Monday, rest tuesday, cycle 40k wednesday, rest thursday and run 10k Friday, then rest the weekend - If you want to further split the events then thats okay too - as long as you complete the distances over the week and bear in mind that if you split them down more you will end up exercising EVERY DAY!! - but its up to you. - Thats the first part
Week two you must complete a shorter “sprint” triathalon - AT ONE TIME
So for the sprint triathalon you do a 0.75km (0.46 mile) swim, a 22km (13.75 mile) bike ride and a 5km (3.12 mile) run.
