holy crap a marathon.. I would only wish.. There is no way my lard butt would do that.... I would love to do a half one next spring. But my real goal was this year to do a triathlon but that is not going to happen so net year I will do a mini one...

I have been avoiding this thread like the plague because I am so ashamed for not doing much. But I am back on track so I came crawling back.
Still lacking the push ups but Iwill get there eventually.
1. 5 mile run in 57 minutes 2 mile walk
2. NOTHING
3. 40 minute Tae bo 30 minute Tae Bo Abs
4. 3 mile run 2 mile walk
5. 40 minute Tae Bo Cardio 30 Minute tae Bo Abs 20 minutes arm weights 60 Push Ups
6. 40 minutes spin bike ( 14 miles on level 3) 6.4 mile run in 80 minutes
7. Break
8. Break
9. Break
10. Break
11. 3 mile run 2 mile walk 40 minutes swimming (very little circuit training needs to be revisited)
12. 30 minutes swimming 30 minute overall body sculpting, 30 minute tae Bo abs
13.40 minutes swimming 6 mile run 1 mile walk
14. 30 minutes wimming 60 push ups
15. 1 hour swimming 30 minute arm weights
16. 30 minute swimming ( sick)
17. 200 push ups, 20 minute arms weights, sculpting DVD, 50 minutes resistance bands for all muscle groups, 3 mile run 20 minute swim.. wow 3 hrs of work out.. waaahoooo
18. Nothing
19. Nothing
20.Swimming 30 minutes
21. 5 miles walking
22 10 miles walking
23 Nothing
24 30 minutes swimming
25 20 minute arm weights 40 minutes spin bike
26 Off
27. 75 minutes spin bike ( 25 miles) 20 minutes arm weights
28.30 minute spin bike
29. 5.5 mile run 1 mile walk

Just checking in. We (Melanie my daughter, and Courtney, her bff) are doing our nightly walking, running and work outs. I do have to say that they have been intense for me. With the girls being so young they have a lot of stamina and energy and they push me along. It makes me feel good to challenge them. I have been sore for a few days since I started working out with them. It feels good to be sore again, like my workouts are working again. I have felt like I mastered my workout routine months ago and it's gotten really boring. So, this brings new life on my workouts. We are going to do this 3 mile walk where half of it is straight uphill. I hope not tonight tho as it's gonna be brutal!

Well, it's August 1st now. Last night we did a walk for 3 miles and half of it was all uphill. I have been fearing doing this walk because it is such a grueling walk, uphill, and strenuous. I used to walk it before but have not in many months. I was afraid I couldn't handle it.

Well, the girls I walk with have long legs and for every step they do I have to take 3. I felt like I was trotting up the hill as they easily were striding. They suddenly broke out in a run and I was getting left behind so then I had to pick up the pace. Thank God they stopped or I would have never caught up! We ran a few times during the walk up and downhill. I was so surprised that I was able to do the walk and it was not really so bad after all! So, looks like we have a new route.

Yay, I made my mini goal today of 210!!!! Next minigoal is 199 onederland!
