Default Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred Challenge

Hey everyone! Just received the copy of 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels that I ordered. I wanted to start a fitness challenge using the 30 Day Shred. Anyone want to join. My thought was to post starting weight and measurements if you want and see where we are after completing 30 days with Jillian! Who's with me?!?

My starting weight as of June 10th, 2009:

150 lbs.

Measurements:

36.5 - 33 - 44

Heya, I am tempted. I went through the 30 Day Shred cycle once already, and it was great. I can't promise sticking to it every day since I like to vary my workouts, and I leave for my vacations in two weeks, but I will commit to 30 Day Shred or other Jillian DVD ~3 times a week.

She is a pretty tough trainer, and has a few DVDs and books out. If you have an average fitness level and have done interval training before, you can try her DVDs out. But if you are a beginner, I would suggest Kathy Smith DVDs to build up your strength and stamina before going Jillian. Jillian is more about kicking it into a high gear and very much about keeping the intensity on, plus her commentary particulary on Shred is not very supportive.

I am on level 2 at the moment, 2nd day of it. I've been doing it every other day though...it is a tough workout!

I've re-started today with L1 (lost a bit of tone over the 2 weeks vacations, heh), will go to L2 next week. I will see if I can do the No More Troubled Zones tomorrow, if I have a bit more time in the morning. I love the SHred because it's such a great way to kick the day off, 30 min, and you feel like the blood is pumping and the muscules are all charged up.

The shred is 30 minutes? I thought it was only 20 minutes....
Well I did level 2 today again! It is tough! I feel shredded...haha!

It's 20 min of excersises, but warm-up and cool-down adds a few more minutes, as well as the unskippable Jillian's yap. It's not important, unless you are like me who counts every minute in the morning since I have to make a train, lol.

Anyways, did L2 yesterday, dunno what I will be able to put in today.

Dunno if anyone is on it, but I have done L2 diligently every day so far, but will be doing pilates tomorrow morning instead, since I have a killer core class at lunch. So, anyone's Shredding apart from me?

Okay, took a rest day from Shred for 2 days (doing other stuff), but will be back to it tomorrow.
