A NEW MONTH = A NEW START

Just come on in. You don't need to work out every day to join Just try to fit in as much as you can and give it your best, that's all you need to do And don't quit coming here if you have or had a bad week, we love ya anyway

Add me hon!!! I was bad the last couple of weeks - not tracking that is.

3/31 Exercise:350 regular push-ups, 20 minutes of pure run 2 miles = 10 min per mile, 1 hr free weights 1/2 in class and 1/2 with the big boys, and very easy 1 hr of yoga

4/01 Kickboxing and Pilates

Ladies, March was a great month. We all did very well.

Sabrina, thanks for the info the other day

Nancy, i've started eating something before I go to the gym too. I noticed that if i eat a banana before i go that i have energy out this world. Today I ate an apple before I went to the gym and I did great. Are there any other foods that you or anyone else recommends?

I am so happy to hear that you're eating befor exercising. So good for you.

Any high complex carb food such as fruit as you noted are good, a pc of bread w/ some peanut butter, 1 sv of oatmeal works, I've been eating a few onces of steamed sweet potato..., a handful of nuts or what I always have dry goji berries which are raisonlike....etc.

What I don't recommend is fiberous food. It takes longer to digest and ahhhh you can taste it. I learned the hard way.

Good morning everyone! April, and we have another snowfall! Brrr.

Goals for April:
-Work up from 3 lbs to 5 lbs as light weight, while continuing to incorporate 8 lbs as heavy weights
-Stay on track with the running program
-Incorporate Pilates and work towards the flat belly
-Not to injure myself

April 1, 2009: M: 20 min Beginner Pilates for Abs (Kathy Smith); L: Boot Camp Class; A: walk (~30 min); E: Stretch

Good Morning Girls

Well, April is sure playing a prank on me this morning (at least I hope it is) I woke up sick My throat started hurting yesterday afternoon and I feelt a little sick. I couldn't do more than 3 miles of WATP Took some medicine before I went to bed hoping it will just go away overnight, but I just feel aweful this morning, all I want is to go back to bed and sleep all day. Well, I have all day to get it out of my system and hopefully by the time I go home I feel better Just hope the day isn't to crazy and my boss leaves me alone today

Ouch. Darn, everyone seems to be falling sick these days. Can't wait for summer! I hope you'll get better soon! Hot teas are my weapon of choice in battling sore throat.
