I will try my best. I'm averaging 1 pound per week. I don't want to really push anything either since I'm sticking to a strict half marathon training routine. My run is a week from this Saturday and that means taper time -which means less exertion and more rest to allow myself to have the stamina to run 13.1 miles. I'm not cutting calories either. I need the energy to run. For my size, I'm relatively happy with the rate of the loss but it might not be enough to cut it to stay in the game. Not going to push myself with squats either. I can't have sore legs at this point. Btw, I put myself in the lottery for the St. George marathon in October. Hope I get in. Very nervous and intimidated but I've always wanted to run a full. Need a new pedometer for training though and I'm holding out for a Bob stroller for my bday. Anyone have recommendations on good pedometer/heart rate monitors?

Garmin has some really great models. I have one that is a GPS tracker and keeps track of your distance, calories, time, etc. The model I have doesn't have a heart rate monitor on it, but I already have one of those. One thing I like about it is it takes 2-AAA batteries so I can swap them out in the middle of a hike with out any problems and without any loss of information. Since you do so much running, you might want to spend the extra cash and get a model that keeps track of your heart rate as well. They are a little harder to find, but you should be able to find them online. Here is a link to their website.
