4.01:

water: 80 oz
exercise: 1 hr elliptical, 5 min bike
diet: -995 kcal (perfect!)

Here's the list so far:

Jan 1: 0
Jan 2: -1353

Hi Ladies,

Daily Basics

Water in: 8 oz. this is very hard for me,,,,not a water drinker
Diet Plan followed: 1200 calories
Exercise(s) - type/minutes: 30 minutes on treadmill, 20 minutes on bike
Any mini accomplishments today: Had a salad for lunch, didn't eat any cookies that are left from the holidays!!!!

Tomorrow is my weigh in day, first one since before Christmas. Was to hard during the holidays, I am nervous, but will type in my weight on the ticker.

water in 46 oz; excercise walked dog 1/2 hour. diet haven't hit 1200 yet. didn't smoke today; really feeling grumpy

Don't mind me - I'm "practicing" setting up the "welcome thread " for tomorrow AM. I'm going to copy/paste the section below the **** line at the start of each Mon. AM thread, so new people know what we're about.

Lisa = welcome! Good luck w/ your weigh in!
Tracy = you hang in there. Nicotine is a hard addiction to overcome. One day at a time. You're allowed a few grumpy spells.

DAILY BASICS!



Goal: getting into a daily habit of covering the basics (water, exercise, and diet), so being healthy just becomes a normal way of life.

Intended for:
A. Positive, motivated people who want to see serious results in 2009.
B. Also a place to quickly check-in , for those who may not have a lot of computer time, but know the benefits of being connected with others during this journey.

No set weigh-in dates, and no points earned. Set your own goals, and keep us updated with your losses whenever you want. A new thread starts each Monday morning, and will run until Sunday evening. New threads are labeled Daily Basics - Wk 3, Daily Basics - Wk 4, ect., until Daily Basics – wk 52.

To make this easy on yourself, just copy and paste the section below into your post, and then use your edit button (lower right, on bottom of this page) to update your days throughout the week.

Everyone welcome ~~I may not be around until the evening to say hi, but I will be hoping for a healthy week for each of you. If you don’t have a perfect day, just wipe the crumbs off and keep going. And that, to me, is what it’s all about – learning how to hang in there and how to overcome your obstacle(s). If you keep consistently fighting for it, eventually you’ll get to your reward.

Let's keep it positive, and be there for those who may have an "oops". Best wishes to uncovering the real you… this year!!

I squeeze a lemon into my bottled water. It's much easier for me that way.
